This is a sorry with ambiguous words in German "You have" or "You hate" which sounds in German language quite the same and in the suffering also so wanted. In the song it is also about the vows at marriage but there is again a play on words in it that I do not translate now you should research as an adult yourself.
In this song its a play with the words: Du hast (one s) mich gefragt means "You ve asked me" Du hasst mich means you hate me. So if he only sings Du has(st) (pronouciation is the same) he says you hate me. But If he sings the complete sentence Du hast mich gefragt it means You have asked me.
