ik im late but if you found your hair to be oily after the hair mask try putting on in replace of conditioner after shampooing, leave it in for 10-15 minutes then rinse, try to aim for keeping it from midway to ends too!
1:28 Prioritize the person who is physically there, not the person on the phone. Put them on hold and if the customer is there is taking a while, radio to a manager to grab the phone call. (former manager)
My husband gets motion sickness very often. The pressure point bands you were talking about, save him all the time. They work beryy well, but make sure you read the instructions as they do take about five minutes to start working on him. We bought seveal pairs and have them on hand with us basically whenever he leaves the house. I highly recommend!!!
I've suffered from this since I was a child (48 now) I get car sick or atleast used to and found salt and vinegar chips helped me just nibbling on them, I feared seeing people or hearing them vomit was so scary and came to realised vomiting was important as its the bodys way of getting rid of toxic waste.
diaphragmatic breathing and tapping your body/head helps sooooo much. the grounding exercises work like a charm!! for me, personally, I don't think I will ever fully overcome my emetephobia because it is so intrinsically linked with trauma and ocd, but having an understanding of triggers and deciding if you're able to avoid them is (i think) just as valid as pushing yourself to work through them! sometimes you just have to prioritize your sanity hahaha. great video :D
what bothers me most is the fake scenarios in my head including v*mit... sometimes i see nightmares about it and feeling nauseous is the worst thing ever 😖 i want to cry everytime...
i had emetophobia before but i paradoxically cured myself when i started to drink alcohol in the teen years. of course, throwing up when you're drunk isn't half as bad as when you're sober, but it still. also, i worked in an intensive care unit where there were many people with heart attacks and many of them threw up so that helped me. i really think exposure therapy works for stuff like that.
as someone whos struggled with emetophobia for nearly 13 years now, I will be snatching ALL of those coping mechanisms. bc exposure therapy is NOT the business XD
I just got the shampoo and conditioner today but I'm scared to death to use it because I saw reviews that said their hair fell out In clumps when they used it (I bought the length check one)
So I use to work at a higher end movie theater a few years back. And have to say since I was box office mostly. It was kinda fun for me. At the theater I worked at I got to see them actually build a imax theater inside one of the theaters. It was amazing. Also I got to help put up the Christmas decorations in the lobby one year. Took my whole shift and it was pretty nice to get away from the customers for that day. I am an artist and having time during the week, I could just sit in box and draw/doodle while waiting for customers or during our slow times. Also I have to say I love staying at the end credits of movies cause I enjoy seeing the names of people who worked on the movies. I started doing that when I went to college for animation to see my teacher’s names during some of the movies they did. That and I enjoy listening to the music during the credits sometimes too. There have been more movies sneaking scenes during or after the credits than years ago. Especially marvel, some of the Pixar films, and a few Disney films to kinda tie the sequels (like PoTC for example) to the previous movies. Well another reason I stay was cause I did miss the after credits ending to Jingle all the Way years back. My parents were watching it when I went to the restroom and that’s when they started watching the credits till the end regardless of if there was anything at the end of them. Just my personal preference I suppose on watching them.
Hi Olivia I'm Jon, I remember way back when i was younger in my 20s when i was a Owner at Kalamazoo 10 movie theater and sometimes my Co. workers would bring me back into the theater and i would see a lot of trash that Customers left behind and deep inside i thought it was nasty to. Also You are correct about working in a Movie theater can be very stressful and sometimes overwhelming but also the biggest issues that use to hurt me was we use to get a lot of nasty Customers who would come in and actually be rude to my Co. workers and that use to hurt me a lot and would make me sad. Still usually it was fun being Owner and i loved all my Co. workers and they loved me back and we still tried to be as loving and welcoming to all our Customers even though not all our Customers loved us all back. At the Theater you worked at, it sounds like you were a very hard worker! I sure hope everyone was nice to you. Did you ever get any Customers who would keep getting up and wondering around during a movie? I use to have that happen sometimes in my Theater and i just ignored it but use to all be worried that a Customer might get lost or hurt but again that would be there fault then as Customers shouldn't be doing that stuff.
yeah i still clean around other people, it just gets frustrating when the credits are completely over and people see you cleaning and still don’t care to get up to leave ahhaha
I’m 34 and I had to stop collecting too. I still see squishmallows in the stores and I think they’re adorable but I never buy. I have one squishmallow left from my collection. It is hard but they’re expensive and my life is changing at the moment. I’ll always have love for squishmallows ❤️
I think this would be fun to try, even if it's just to goof off with some friends. I have an android so I wonder if there's a way to use multitasking to record a wordle video? Like have the camera in the top app recording and the bottom half be the wordle and use a Bluetooth keyboard to type? Definitely something I'll try to mess around with
One thing that kinda brought me tads this job ( not working but sending in a resume ) it that sometimes when big movies come out like the Batman they give out hate and the new ninja turtles movie they are giving out free shirts ( they look amazing )
Hi! I saw right now your vans collection video and I want some tips. I want to start using low shoes and I bought a pair of vans slip on, but I really hate no show socks. I tryed them with longer socks but I really dont like to have visible socks. What can I do?
Shampoo twice! I noticed a huge difference after rinsing the first time and then going in with a second round of shampoo. It even is a pro tip on the back of the bottle
i have an interview friday its gonna be my first job and im looking at videos to see what im going to experience i also have a friend working there to so im stoked to see whats it gonna be like wish me luck guys
I’ve only had to clean up specific messes in the bathroom very occasionally. There is no daily cleaning of the bathrooms at my theater, the night time janitors take care of that
Growing up, I was taught to throw my garbage out after the movie, to leave when it’s time to leave, when the movie is over…. You’ll have a lot on your plate when it comes to cleaning.
From the observation I made I wish you nothing but blessing healing and strength I pray over your joy and happiness and I do think that if you documented that journey that would be amazing to see you have a good soul keep your head up much love from out here in SoCal!!!! Peace be with you
