Other than that, it's a perfect "CABIN" place up in the mountains to get away from the city or home that has all the comfort we take for granted. I would definitely buy this property if I had the money 💰. Ok, ya'll hold my beer 🍺 while I go buy ne some lottery tickets 🎟, hey.. you never know. 😄👍
Yeah, it gets pretty close to what I'm looking for, close to hitting the 80% mark. After buying my last couple of houses, I've learned that you'll almost never find a place that meets everything you need without custom building, but even then, that assumes that you have the land at the location that you want, have a hefty budget, and a decent timeline for getting it all done. Granted I REALLY want a shop / garage space - IE the Pole Barn that @KevinSurvival mentioned, more land for shooting longer distances, and water for fishing...but to get everything, it'd probably cost 2-3x more, which just isn't feasible for a recreation / part time property that can't even be rented out on AirBnB due to covenant restrictions etc.
Ah good catch - just took a look at Zillow and it said $502K when looking at the sale history - yea a bit pricey for a place with no AC, especially with the heat around here right now. Granted you could put in a couple of mini-splits I spose, but that'd just bump the price up even higher.
Thats a nice one! Other than the tree clearing do you know what other improvements were done? I just saw that the price jumped $175k (per Zillow thumbnail) since it was sold a few years ago and figured they did some other upgrades.
I have been building houses for over 40 years now. I have built houses in Newport Shores, Bellevue WA, Montana and WV and I think people have lost their minds. Guess some people are looking for a place to spend all that money the Federal Reserve bank is printing. Still, if you are working remote, You can go to a different location and get 10x more for half the price. Who cares when it is all free money anyhow, right? I wonder if people even know the difference in rockwool vs fiberglass insulation or marble fireplace vs stone or Pine vs Cedar vs Fir vs Oak. I really do not think people know what they a buying now days. No one even talks about square feet anymore.

Why not clean the cabin and the roof and mow the grass. It would present so much better. I never understand why people who are selling a property don't try and present the property well. Makes no sense. It is beautiful no doubt!
