OK, since it seems I am the first comment, I want to make it count, so I want to point out some things about this. First off, the note that bends down should be a fifth of the root note and it also should be lower in the mix, otherwise it makes the whole sound shriek. Secondly, the fx shouldn't be that present because it's like they "water" down the rigid character of the patch and it loses its "lasery" feel. Third and a bit important, the fourth note in the song's main riff as it begins should be a B and not a C.. and last but not least: Jarre himself hasn't used his Synthex for the last decade or so, because of instability issues. Instead he uses a patch from The Virus TI model, which (in his own words) is a perfect recreation of the original and to which I totally agree. So, there you go, I hope this helped, keep up the good work, your patch is already better than the one I tried to build 3 years ago on my DeepMind 12 and which I abandoned when I discovered the one on my Virus TI, which really, renders all our efforts useless as it is amazingly faithful to the original patch of the Synthex..
@@lundsweden Of course not, there are hundreds of reasons to buy a Virus. I didn't even know about this when I got mine, but it's there, so I have no reason to build it again.
Hi there, great video. I was curious if this thing is capable of making the Jan Hammer type synth lead. Judging by what I heard, it sounds pretty good!
Thats awesome man! I have a poly d and have been planning on adding the roland tr8s to my setup! So many possibilities. I have a behringer edge arriving anyday not the roland is next though.

I have those same two sitting in front of me (well, Blue Marvin), amazing synths! I started making Kontakt instruments with them. Have you tried that? It's time consuming, but rewarding!
