Riddick got announced on 4K yesterday by shout factory. I ended up pre-ordering from them just because they offered a theatrical poster with it. It comes out in December.
Nice. May I suggest a Zidoo (for example a Z9X PRO 4K, as you also have 3D movies) + a NAS? That way you can sell all your movies and get more space :-) Greetings from Denmark ✌️
Thank you. It has crossed my mind. But, I'm not there yet. I like having the physical case and seeing it on a shelf. I grew up wanting a large physical library. Something I've always wanted. I may eventually try a home media server.
Gonna have to disagree. I was disappointed with "Riddick" as it was basically just a copy of the 1st movie with worse characters. Chronicles was taking a risk and showing more of the galaxy and whats going on, and I always enjoy that in sci-fi movies. I wish they would have expanded on the Necromongers rather than going backwards and just putting Riddick in a similar situation as the 1st film.
That's the first thing i noticed was the sound. Amazing audio mix. But the green screen shots are so pronounced. Suffers from upgraded resolution just like episode 1,2, and 3 of Star Wars. Just a weird time for movies.
Hi sir i am using pioneer tower with C22 centre and pioneer surrounds and sonodyne atmos with marantz5014 i wanna upgrade with SVS PRIME PLEASE GUIDE WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY 🫶🏻
I can't speak to the performance of your pioneer speakers. But, SVS's Prime Pinnacles are great speakers for movies. Hoping to get their new line, Ultra Evolution, in for review soon. SVS puts out great sounding quality products. They also have some of the best customer service I've ever experienced.
Get alphabet dividers for your shelves. I have 1500 movies including 3D , Blu-ray and 4K and I can find any movie in one minute. one set for each type.
Thank you. The shelf is 72"x37"x5.5". I used premium pine for the frame. Its plenty strong for a movie shelf and not too expensive. You could use a harder wood but it will get expensive really fast. Hardboard wall panel for the back. However, any 1/8" sheet of wood or heavy cardboard will work. Same paint that is in my build video--check out the link in the description section. For the anchor, I used an L-bracket. Hope this helps.
I have MTM212 LCR and MTM 210 sorounds 😂 mega over kill. These speakers are end game there are very few speakers that will sound better includong JTR wich are considered HT standard
I have the exact same projector and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The in built Android OS and chips chipset is a little laggy when it comes to 4k playback. I would recommend using a chromecast to get better experience. I have a question for the uploader: how do I get to the picture/audio control menu? I tried all buttons on the remote and it does not give me the menu you showed on the video
The suffix that PSA adds to their speakers is an added descriptor--not necessarily consistent across all speakers. For these speakers, the "M" refers to the matte finish. MTM = midwoofer, tweeter, midwoofer.
I have not yet had the chance to try the Yaber. Hopefully I can get one in for review. Of the budget projectors I've reviewed, I don't have a favorite. They all differentiate themselves just a bit video-wise from the others. Some were slightly better in one area while others were a bit better in another area. The Ownknew is the lightest and most compact budget projector I've reviewed. And, despite being the lowest priced, performed well. A good bang for your buck projector among budget projectors.
I’m glad to see that these movies are “ not on the list “. Dune 1-2. Gravity They are meh. Overrated I have and demoed all in your list but blade. I’ll give that one a try
Great list. I usually bash ppl on these. Star Wars episode 1 pod race scene is pretty good. Everyone has already mentioned deep water horizon. It’s a good one. I cant pick out a specific scene. Just the movie all in all. Really good audio.
I have reference primer speakers also. I have an older sub from them that I’m reading in a few months from now. Are you still considering doing the switch? Do you recommend the towers over the speakers in the video?
The reference premiere line are excellent speakers and provide great performance for the price. The 8000Fs are especially capable and I personally like their sound. The 212s are without a doubt a much better speaker but they understandably cost much more. I can't imagine there is a massive difference in performance between the 212 and the 212T. I'd recommend whichever one fits your space. The 212s are still on my list of potential upgrades. But, I'm taking my time. I have a number of upgrades in mind.
Main highlights: better speakers in the P50, smart features like obstacle avoidance and screen alignment, more picture correction features, apps, and a completely different design.
Thank you. Still deciding which way to go on subs. I had dual PSAs in for review earlier this year. Excellent experience. Check out the video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hytir36IupM.html
@@stillbluehometheater1056 oh nice. I have dual SVS PB16 Ultras in the front and Dual PSA TV2112M beasts directly behind theater seats for near field. Absolutely love them
