I love papercrafting and making junk journals, also sharing secondhand shop, craft supply, and book hauls. I have been very fortunate in the short time I have been crafting and making videos to have had the opportunity to be a part of Design Teams such as: Lavender Blu, Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft, Whichcraft Do You Do, Tracie Fox Creative and the Helmar Creative Team and I love sharing the items I have created for them. Hopefully I can inspire others to fall in love with junk journals and paper-crafting too.
No worries! I had piles of fun with this and did make another recently, here is the link if you would like to see: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ISHGbQaL8MM.html I did it a little differently 🙂 Hope you enjoy giving it a go💕
Wow! How generous has Valita has been, I'm so jealous! There is some neat stuff here, I love the velvet ribbon and the old materials.oh and the wallpaper frieze is so cool and looks like it would be amazing to fussy cut. ❤😮❤
You both have spoilt me so much and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it! Great inspiration 🤗😘 Millie is a force to be reckoned with 😅 but it is fun working her out ☺
Thanks so much! I love this kit too - it was a pleasure to work with and Jo is such a sweetheart ☺ This is a wonderful collab to be a part of and looking forward to catching up on all of the videos 🙂💕
Beautiful! Great size journal, and it looks great with the wire bound spine. I’m really happy you could make use of some of the materials I sent you 🥰 Very nice work! x
I knew when I saw the florist pieces you gave that they would be good as pages in this but they are amazing!!! And I have so many different colours for the future 🙂the scrappy bits will be great for clusters also. I used a few pages out of the scrapbook paper pack also. Hope you have an awesome weekend Emily ☺💕
Wow! Your cinch-bound goth journal is absolutely gorgeous! I especially like all of the fabrics, trims and colors you used. Thank you for showing your process, I really appreciate that! 🖤
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking it out! I had a blast with Jo's kit and a lot of fun with the collab 🤗 Now that my day is over I am looking forward to catching up on all of the videos ☺
Thank you☺ I really enjoy using the Cinch on occasion - it is a fun way to use thicker pages not suitable for a typical bound journal. Have a great day 💕
Your cinch bound journal is awesome! I have never made a cinch bound...I enjoyed seeing how you made it. I like the size of it too. It could be tossed right into a handbag for journaling on the go. Clever use of the netting! Loved the flip through! Thank you so much for participating!!! Adding your video to the playlist and posting in my FB group :)
I love using the Cinch, it is fun finding different things to use as pages. Thanks so much for the invite and absolutely loved playing with the kit - it is beautiful 🤗☺😘💕Hugs xx
If you search "how to use a cropodile" in RU-vid there are heaps of tutorials that you may find handy. This is likely what I did when I got mine as I had no idea on which way to turn the block thingos 😂
You are so very inventive and inspire me so much! For sewing do you use just a household machine with a leather type needle? I do have a Jan ting that I haven’t even tried yet so this weekend I’ll try! A link for sealing wax would be so helpful if you have a chance! Thanks for your time and energies here!
Thanks Beverly! So many people inspire me too ☺ it is wonderful to have RU-vid to have such inspiration and tutorials 🙂 I have an old (20years)Janome sewing maching, not an expensive one either. I have never changed the needle 😅The pleather was easy enough to go through once I got it started but would catch on occasion at the start. I think it would be easier to sew with the smooth/front side down but the stitches wouldn't look as neat then........ Now for sealing wax, I know that Globleland do not post it to Australia unfortunately so I tend to search online via Amazon for mine. It can be expensive so best to do a search and find a deal that seems suitable for you ☺💕
Thanks Valita, I loved using the pleather for this and the outcome - something very different for me and looking forward to filling the cover up sometime ☺💕
I though the luggage tag holders were open up top, but when planning this thought it was easier to do it on the side so could be removed easy. I might do some the standard way in future though 🙃😘💕
It was so generous of Emily and I have already grabbed some bits for my next project ☺ Millie is so cute when she is sleeping, otherwise she is quite the naughty child! 🤣She will keep me fit for sure!
You’re welcome 😘 enjoy Nat! I’m happy to hear you’ll be able to use a lot of it. Thanks for your friendship x The coloured papers/fabrics are samples from a florist 💐 The fox really had only one place to go, and that was to you 😂 Aww Millie made an appearance! I’m looking forward to seeing more of her on your videos 😍
Thanks again ☺ I love the florist samples, I get so excited when I find something a little different to try to use in my journals and already have pulled a few items out to use this month 🤗 I will share some pieces on Millie as she is such a big part of me now 💞probs mostly at the end of videos and ones that aren't promoting others. May as well share the cuteness and trouble 😂😘
Thanks Carol, the paper bag ones are my favourite ways of using the paper to date - they turned out fabulous. Can sure make a pile of them with all of the bags here ☺🤗😆
How fantastic and generous is Emily, such a beautiful soul! My official thankyou is yet to come, I am much slower than you 😊There is some really cool stuff in there, I especially like those fussy cut frames, can you tell me where they came from.😊❤😊😊
Emily is such a lovely lady and I have really appreciated her support and friendship over the years. I am going to have a ball with all of this. Love the stamps you got as well - so much fun! ☺
Thanks Deidre, they are never what I think they will be like but that is half the fun and I am still learning with slight improvement 🤣 It is fun to do this though ☺😘
I t really brightened my day and got the mind cranking on what to make with it all 🤗 Haha, yeah, I still need to train her to let me craft more 😅 but we are working things out slowly.
