Thank you so much. I have a question if I’m putting a square lace trim on the bottom of shorts do i sew the lace on first then sew side seams to catch the raw edge or do I sew after side seams folding under in the sewn seam?
We don’t need you to be an “everything” store, there are plenty of those. We need you to be a fabric store because you are the only big chain of those left. Can you please go back to the basics and offer good quality fabric like your customer base has been begging you to do for years? It shouldn’t be hard to not mess up your monopoly…
Ok, I find it a good idea to ask the recently graduated college students that work there what good ideas they had for an ad. That’s fine. However, please focus on the fundamentals of your stores first. My husband and kids went into a local store in December to buy me a gift card for Christmas and maybe a little yarn or fabric, a nice notion. My teenagers had never been in there “mom, it looked like a dump, do you really shop there regularly?!” I really hope you do not intend on dumping a bunch of cash on the ether that is advertising without the intention of retaining customers produced from your ad campaign. What is your ROI on this if the below isn’t addressed to retain customers? If you want the younger generation to also shop there on a regular basis you will need to address the obvious that has obviously not been addressed. Inventory tracking. When something shows in stock in the store or online and your customers purchase - NO ONE or it should be VERY RARE to receive an “uh-oh!” Email from Enrique saying you don’t have it in stock. 🙄 It’s 2024, get it together. Staff When the holidays roll around, don’t let half of your seasoned staff go. This is a time to HIRE people so your stores are not 30/40 people deep with one or two registers open. Again -🙄 Stocking When you send items to your stores, it’s best to stock overnight, when you don’t have customers that can’t get into aisles because you decide to send two truck loads of inventory for the staff you just cut in half to put up AND now require to jump when there is an online order for pick up AND there is a line of customers. Dated Your stores are dated, dirty and I read online that many of them are without air conditioning in the hot summer months. I realize this is a huge cost to get these up to date but maybe add more lighting to at least be able to see in the narrow aisles? IDK but something needs to change. From what I read online - NO ONE - not even your corporate store-looks anything like the shiny, beautifully stocked store you have in your fancy, probably very costly ad. Hopefully you don’t delete my comment but - even if you do, everyone who shops at your stores and even your biggest fans already know all of the above. Now, everyone is just hoping you get started on the fundamental parts that your customers are actually looking for.
Could you guys just give the people that work at the stores enough hours to do their jobs? We already know what we're making and what we need to make it, but _we can't buy it if it's not on the shelf_. How is this not obvious?
Wow - this is completely useless. How do you attach the clip with your bra on? Who's the dumbass who 1. Wrote the video? And 2. OK'd it? Waste of money, effort, and time!!!
And diamond painting and scrap booking and coloring and cross stitch and ... and ... let me catch my breath... and storage and decorating and holidays and so much more! I love my JoAnn store!
