I have a 19l otg so I won't be able to place two 9" pans adjacent. There is only one baking rack and one cookie sheet provided. Not sure what changes to make. Should I try one pan on the Baking rack and one pan on the cookie tray?

meron akong ganyan na molder .i order it from temu.i will follow your recipe.i have ube powder here but i dont have halaya.ok lang ba chef?wala rin akung purple food coloring but i can make one by combining two color to produce purple.i think blue and red yata together..im not sure yet.hihi
@@cookingwithkurtI baked it today and it is so soft and yummy.since I only have purple yam powder I made a halaya/ube jam out of it.i just follow the recipe at the back of the packaging.my husband love it.even my dog ate it(my dog like to eat cake a lot)my concerned is the color.mine is not that purple. It is very light purple.but the taste and texture is so good.im going to bake ube cake soon using your recipe.thanks for sharing.

I just finished making, and it was all good except that fact that I think I can taste the cornstarch not cooking. I hope that makes sense .how can I make it a way not to taste the cornstarch? Or maybe it is the baking powder?what did i do wrong ? Thank you
It’s difficult to say what happened without seeing what you did. You may make any changes you like, any adjustments you see fit to make the buns more enjoyable for you 😊

The frosting gets whipped for a long time to remove any clumps of powdered sugar and make the resulting frosting fluffy and airy. We found that starting with cold butter ensures that the frosting doesn’t warm up too much and become runny before piping. Hope this helps! 😊

There should be enough batter with the recipe as is for a two-layer 9” cake. But you may make any changes you like, any adjustments you see fit to make your cake more enjoyable for you 😊
