Come on, get wise, Milord Her lips tell lies, Milord The girl that you adored Has found some other guy She just got bored, Milord Now you're ignored, Milord Deep down inside your pride Won't let you say 'good bye That southern belle, Milord Has got a heart of ice Love can be hell, Milord As well as paradise Come on, get mad, Milord Life's not so bad, Milord The charms of other arms Can make your heart forget Don't count the cost, Milord Let her get lost, Milord One memory can beat A lifetime of regret So let her go, Milord Come on relax, be smart 'Cause if you don't, you know She'll only break your heart La-la-la... Come on get hip, Milord And let life rip, Milord Be sure there's plenty more Of lovin' to be done There's chicks to meet, Milord With lips as sweet, Milord And hearts to make 'rem break Before the race is run So hit the town, Milord Come on and be my guest We'll turn it upside down Let the Devil take the rest We'll turn it upside down Let the Devil take the rest
I wasn't born until they'd been singing 30 years, yet Yellow bird was sung to me all through my childhood....by family . This is the measure of great singers
I have worked with my brothers for almost 50 years. I do not regret one minute. We had Some arguments- some hot ones. But we never separated in the end. Never.
Mr Olundus Williams you were such a blessing to me since I was 8 years old till now and the rest of soul mates in music they were a blessing indeed. May God be with you were you are into the bosom of Abraham ❤❤❤❤
One only has to listen to the Mills Brothers to know how much God loves us. The are a precious gift straight from our Maker. And Father, I thank you again for the Mills Brothers. I am an 85 year old Southern Gentleman. White as a snowflake, salty as a cracker, and a Jesus saved Christian. They say Dean Martin copied Harry's personality. A very wise decision. We adore Dean and Harry.
Correction, Oscar Peterson, when he sang, did sound remarkably like Nat King Cole. This has been noted publicly by others many years ago. Oscar readily admitted that his voice had a similar sound to Nat King Cole.
Each of them has their own unique style/personality and talents. I liked them all and enjoy their music very much so. The Mills Brothers Story is a great piece. Really hated to accept this’s the last episode. Thanks again for sharing. I’m appreciated.
Comes to Episode #2. No one can deny the multi talented of The Mills Brothers, and their ambitious plans. My admiration and respect. Truly deserved the recognition, respect and all their successes. Thank you for the post. Have a nice day🙂everyone.
The Mills Brothers Story was a beautifully made series. From the opening title through the closing episode. Can’t wait to continue on the episode #2. Thank you for the post. Your work is appreciated.
6:09 - 7:46 What an absolutely beautiful scene, to see the brothers back, but this time, with dad performing, and the very talented base guitarist (that interview gig must have been impossible to pass). Thank you so much for this absolute gem, Bruno.
