Its still too early to know whats open, so fetchland is almost always the pick there. Love the video! Maybe you could do like seven picks until you've gone through the whole cube. The art on those cards looks incredible I could watch all day
Kinda sucks to pass bolt and gut in the same pack as minsc and boo but it's the most powerful card outside of power 9 so pretty easy pick in my opinion
Your content is so good, i can enjoy it with or without headphones. I'm new to MTG, so it's nice to watch your stuff! Thanks for the hard work you put in, it's very appreciated!
It's amazing how many different and creative videos ideas you have! For my first pre-release I lost a game that I would've won due to the allotted time for the match running out. 😭
Thank you!! 😊 And, ugh, that's rough! 😩 My rounds always take much longer than normal at prereleases because of the cards being so new and everyone slowing down to read them. Sometimes I wish they gave a little extra time just for prereleases because of that.

I decided to open a pack a day just to see where it went, and I did an 'ASMR' pack opening compilation for the meme at the end of the first month. I was just recommended this and am thoroughly amused that someone has a whole channel dedicated to MTG ASMR. 11/10 internet points
@@FlickerWhisper Yeah seeing 3 rares is nice but here two of them were actually pretty underwhelming in Draft, even in the right build. You gotta be ready to pass on some rares that's how it is.
For the first player I would definitely have committed to the Red or White 2 drops. As soon as they'd get a counter they'd be unstoppable in the early game. For the second player, I'm not too sure about kitnap, haven't tried it yet but the effect doesn't seem so compelling to me and blue has been pretty disappointing so far in BLB. I fully agree with the rest of your picks. Thanks for the video :-)
Thanks for watching! 😊 Good call on the first player, I think that'd be a really good way to go as well. Kitnap I could take or leave; I agree that blue is pretty bad in this set. There wasn't much else in the pack that I would have wanted to take, other than maybe the red/black mentor. So, it's possible that Kitnap would end up getting abandoned later in the draft.
Looks like I got lucky and got the code first. I got a Tyrant of Kher Ridges, a Pristine Talisman in a retro border, a Supply Drop, a Forging the Amulet, a Yotian Medic and an Aeronauts Wings. (also a common and uncommon wildcard). Thanks for the code! I'd been watching the Bloomburrow videos lately, just as Bloomburrow has gotten me back into MTG as I last played in... what, 2012 I think? so very lucky to have been seeing your videos just by occasionally searching for mtg asmr as something to relax to.
Love the crinkles, But legit mashing bloomburrow and Duskhorn together is my favorite set. Its a cute fuzzy wuzzy lil guy weilding the souls of the undead and a revving a chainsaw coming at ya
I have a build with Ashcoat as the commander but I'm changing it to the new Grixis Rat commander who creates 1/1 snails. I also have Karumonix and the other staples like Marrow Gnawer. 😊
Thanks for another great video! It's such a blessing to hear you speak normally and now with the added benefit of rats I'm curious about what impact Corrupt will have. Is it going to be a finisher that domes someone for 10 or is it going to be a Murder for 6? I really like cards like Baleful Mastery because of the politics a card like that brings as well as being an exile for 2. I'm really looking forward to seeing the evolution of the deck!
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m also curious how much Corrupt is going to end up doing in practice 😅 hopefully it’ll be a big life swing. Baleful Mastery is an interesting one! I’ve seen some fun politics around gifting in Bloomburrow, so I’ll have to consider adding that in! Thanks for watching! 🐀
Downwind ambusher does not seem so good at first glance but I think in sealed, more often than not you will be able to find 2 for 1 opportunities with it. Since it's uncommon I would pick it first, but savor is definitely a solid choice.
🔪🔪🔪🤣 It probably doesn't help that I have to speed up the footage in order to get the video under 60 seconds lol. I speed up the pack opening more than the rest because it's boring, but it does end up looking rather unhinged!
Gnaw > Hunger > Hop to It is where I'm at atm. Also, if you filter by card strength, you could sort of say that Gnaw was the only red card in that pack.
I agree with your pick, otters have been pretty disappointing in limited unfortunately. I still would have picked Rabid Gnaw since it is excellent removal and non commital, but is also very powerful if you can get some valliant creatures later.
For sure! I was just looking at 17lands this morning and I was surprised to see that a lot of the izzet otters cards are not performing well at all. I didn't put a lot of stake in that archetype, but I didn't expect it to rank so poorly! But yeah, I'd be happy taking Rabid Gnaw as well. There isn't much great removal, and as you said, triggering valiant is an added bonus!
As a nice heads up the blue pop necessary for casting mocking bird does count for an extra mana in what it can copy! Mocking bird was such a good hit especially if you just want a blocker or want to copy something that’s really good on the opponents side
Yes! 🐦 I love that it'll consider the amount of mana spent to cast Mockingbird, rather than just the value of X. I'm not sure why I pulled that out of the second deck 😬 that was a mistake.
The mockingbird is probably the correct pick here, but an argument can be made for the Brazen Collector, it's one of like 2 creatures in the set that naturally have first strike, making it an extremely useful creature for attacking and blocking.
