This reminds me of being in subway when i was 4. The year was 1995. Ill never forget that. It wasnt particularly significant, but i cant forget that moment.
Man this scene really fell off to genres like future funk. I miss the old Mallsoft, Seapunk, Ocean Grunge, Witch House days where those genres were obscure
Damn, That video was posted 8 years ago, comments are about 4 years. Just imagine who are they now, and imagine that one day someone'll read that comment and think exaclly same thing.
This sounds to me like seeing from a helicopter the city that is seen in negative tones on the cover of the album, in 1999 to get to do business dressed in a suit and use a computer with Windows 98 to make important investments. It is in a huge white museum inside, natural light enters since it has a huge courtyard, there are white Greek pillars, and in that museum there are white Greek statues and there are gray rooms where there is only one Greek statue, in others there are several arranged Greek statues, and in the background there is a business computing laboratory. That’s what this song sounds like.
I was listening to this when I had a horrible toothache. It's like a marble sculpture is suffering, the teeth look like they're made of sculpture material, and my tooth was crumbling, just like a Greek statue crumbles. That's why the Helio statue on the album cover has that suffering look, and this song is a representation of that pain.
This song still hits after 8 years. I will never forget the first time my friend and I sat down, booted up a video game, and listened to this entire album. This song got me in the "wave" genres and I haven't looked back.
