You’re beautiful and you are a wonderful wife and mother. 💐 As a former cosmetologist, out dated makeup can most definitely make your skin breakout; you should clean your makeup brushes once a week technically but even I struggle with this one; this is a good reason to have three full sets of makeup brushes, for rotation purposes. With supplements my doctor recommended taking them for three months minimum because it can take a while before you see or feel results.❤
Hi Shelby, I’m so sorry about your hair cut, and your skin, I don’t suffer with acne but I get hives and they get really bad and I really can’t understand why I get them I never used to suffer with them so I was put on Antihistamines and they help a lot. You’re a fantastic Mom, Shelby. It’s difficult as Mom’s to feel good about ourselves when we are in the thick of it. Just remember your style will grow out. I totally get when you aren’t feeling great about your appearance, especially around that time of the month! As a fellow acne sufferer, I feel you. I’ve gone all in with Korean skin care specifically protecting my skin barrier and that has helped so much. But I know that sometimes no matter what you do, the skin just blows up anyways. I love your confidence and that you show up as you are. It’s really helped me to show up as I am as well and wear less or no makeup outside of the house. I often feel overwhelmed with getting two kids ready plus myself so, feeling better about myself in public not done up all the time is just good for my mental health. Moms are superheroes ❤
I know you weren't sure about your haircut but I think it looks great on you! A friend of mine felt similarly with her last cut - I told her to give it some time. Sometimes our brains see something new as bad, or it just makes us unsure. It just takes a while to get used to it. You might feel better about it in a few weeks. Sometimes I get weird about nail polish colors if I try a new one out. It's like my brain just doesn't like it at first no matter what. I also really like what you did with your living room. I totally know what you mean about the female brain needing to rearrange your house sometimes to get it looking perfect. Our homes are our nests! I really like how the light streams in from your big windows through the sheer curtains. I totally get you about feeling like crap when your skin doesn't look good. When you posted this video I had two big zits on my face and I felt god awful. It's hard to keep in mind that you judge yourself harder than everyone else. You might want to look into a supplement called "DIM" if you think your acne might be hormonally related. I had bad skin in my twenties and saw a functional medicine doctor and she prescribed it for me. It worked wonders for me.

Unfortunately I cannot advise you other than consulting a Dr or dermatologist, as I have been very lucky with my skin and I had no reactions postpartum after having 4 children I’m older now I’m 50 now and just have very dry skin. I only wear makeup when I go out. Have you thought it could be a reaction to your makeup or skincare it’s worth looking into. That’s a shame you’re not enjoying your haircut I must admit it looks lovely when you have it clipped back. I’m been experiencing terrible breakouts since giving birth, my dermatologist said that apparently when you’re breast feeding/ pumping it can prolong your hormones from getting balanced. She advised me to take a balancer aid. I decided to use this hormone tea from Amazon. It’s only been 2 weeks but I haven’t had any serious breakouts!

As a fellow Air Force wife I’m learning that every time we move something gets damaged. Hoping our next move won’t be so bad. Fortunately all of our expensive furniture has held up well. Congratulations on the end (or almost the end) of your breastfeeding journey! It can be so hard to get started when you have a difficult delivery so you ought to be very proud of yourself. As always, thank you for being an awesome role model for losing weight slowly and in a healthy way. I've tried protein coffee (I like mine hot) and it's great! It helps me stick to my calorie goals but not feel hungry or deprived. I got an exercise bike for Prime Day for pretty cheap and I've been enjoying catching up on my favorite RU-vidr's channels (you're definitely one of them!). I've seen some of the things you mentioned at Costco recently and I may have to try them out. I hope your appointment goes well and you feel great afterwards.

Whether we breastfeed for 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.. we need to be proud of ourselves and encouraging other mamas to do the same! I enjoy your outlook and often remind myself “it’s a phase and won’t last forever” just like you said as Murphy went through another sleep regression.
