i hate facing these mobile turtle, their front is impossible to penetrate and their side is hard to reach. only way to solo them is to target the track then ram
It’s wholly important to have both good graphics and commentary. Was turned off with the commentary in the first few seconds. Not trying to be rude, but they are voice actors for a reason.
it's end of Nov 2023, still freakin difficult to pen a T95 frontally. Was in my SMV CC-67 at a spot slightly lower than the T-95, used gold (300mm pen HEAT). At 1st tried the cupola, couldn't pen. Then tried the lower plate multiple times, couldn't pen that either. I was slightly shooting up at him, so understandable when shooting up at the cupola on top, but lower plate too? Did I just got some bad pen dice roll?
@@xyrokhan Penetration does not matter, the shells do not penetrate because of the great angle of the armor. Overmatch happens when gun caliber is more than 3 times the thickness of the armor - strv 103b has 50mm and 40mm plates, so you need at least (3*40+1) 121 mm gun to go though. IS has 122mm gun - it can go through the 40mm plates. Leopard has 105mm gun, so it cannot go through anywhere on the strv 103b except the cupola. However, because strv 103b armor is angled you can change your angle that you fire on it from. It is possible to reduce the angle of the strv armor so it does not richocet and you can then penetrate it with less than 121mm gun.
It isn't BS you just don't know what overmatch mechanic is lol. Guy above me explained it well. Strv does not have good raw armor value only good angles which means it will only block small caliber guns but not bigger guns like the IS' 122 caliber gun.
