It’s a craftsman jig. I bought about 12-15 years ago. It’s like this one except my inserts are red instead of black. Hope this helps. www.lowes.com/pd/Milescraft-Hinge-Mate-350/1002633754?store=1780&cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-tol-_-ggl-_-PMAX_TOL_000_Priority_Item-_-1002633754-_-local-_-0-_-0&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2B2W-HuwHGlT9CIi5M-AOBB2Zam&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI06fDgYKFiQMVLXJ_AB06Lg-iEAQYCCABEgJ4BPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I did try WD40 to no avail. After finding out that the hinges were rubbing up against the trim I decided to persuade the trim and move it over. This has fixed the issue as both the lower and upper hinge were rubbing. You can watch my explanation here. The shorts I make are just of the sounds from the longer videos I produce. This short is from the day 11 video on remodeling my 1/2 bath. You can watch the full length video here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e1DbGxY4xMQ.html
Thank you for the service. In my short time working with you as Media team , i enjoyed every step of it, and most especially your creativity. You always have a solution to every thing media as they come. May the Lord bless your way. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Captain! Serving alongside you and your team in Africa was both a joy and honor. Perhaps the Lord will allow our paths to cross again soon. Bless you guys.
That is correct. Despite laying Ditra down as an underlayment and using a 1/2" notched trowel we were left with voids. I drilled a 1/8' hole in the grout lines and used a caulk gun to squeeze the Fix A Floor product into the voids. This product has worked well for this issue. In our home remodel we laid 800 sq. ft. of tile using a 1/2" notched trowel and a spinner spacer system over Ditra. Despite all those efforts, we were left with some hollow sounds under some tiles indicating that there was a gap between the tile and the thinset that was troweled. @@kauaireed9006 I used a 1/8' drill bit which was the same size recommended to drill into the tube. That was also the same size of my grout lines. I cut the very end of the tip of Fix A Floor to make the smallest hole possible. This allowed for the tip to fit into the hole I drilled. Hope this helps!
You two do great work. And I have always been of the opinion that only hacks leave the spacers down. I can't tell you how many of those I have seen popping through the grout around Ohio. Since moving here I've come up with a new mantra which I think you truly embody: "The fastest way to do any task is to do it right the first time." -Todd A.
We did back butter ever tile using a 1/4” notched trowel. We eventually switched to a 1/2” notched trowel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-535UotB3vP0.html
@@richnoplanbeeI got you, yeah the half inch notched trowel would fill in a lot better. Every time I do something with tiles there's always something I wish I would have done after it's all done LOL.
You two are so cute! Love watching these vids. The kitchen is something we need to do too. I hate the paint part soooo much it’s probably not gonna happen. 🤓
I pray that the Lord wrap his loving arms around you, and that you feel his embrace and know deep in your soul and every crevice of your brain that he is speaking to you and that you feel his love surround you so that you can endure this whole process And come out on the other end completely transformed. Love y’all
I found this method by watching this guy - www.youtube.com/@diypainting. He also had a video on the Wagner Flexio 5000 which I was skeptical about, but still went ahead and made the purchase. I would recommend it since it put a nice finish on the cabinets. That's a video I'll put out in a couple of weeks since I just finished putting all the doors and drawer faces on yesterday.
I'll have to try plaster of Paris on my next project. Didn't think of that. I just used what I had on had from texturing our walls. I'll also consider a scraper since I feel like I used too much on some doors and it took more in sanding time.
