My bones ache. I’m always tired. I have this rash on my legs. They won’t go away. And I’m just drained. I get sharp pains in my stomach. And I’m just tired
exactly how mine unfolded.. I felt better than i had in pretty much my whole life. After being overweight and a job that was high stress and also a horrible divorce. I suffered two heart attacks and congestive heart failure. Made it through all of that and began a healthy lifestyle of being active and eating right. Lost 220lbs and felt better than ever. Finally met a girl and everything was back on track. About a month in to that relationship we flew to florida to see hwr mother.. I had started feeling nausea all the time to the point of having to pull over and get sick on the side of the road. I was yelled at and told i was doing this because I didnt want to be around her and her mom and friends. Nothing further from the truth. We fought the whole time as we were there for a month. Imaide i knew something wasnt right. We came home and i went to the doctor. I am vomitting several times a day I am weak what is happening. Exact same as you!!. Got a call about 7 in the evening and it was my doctor. That late already sent flags in my head.. It was myself my now former fiancée and my mom. Same thing my whotw cell was almost 60,000.. Said its almost certainly leukemia. What a blow that was. Then to hang up and tell both my partner and mother that i may have leukemia.. Did my biopsy and it was CML. My fiancée said ahe didnt sign up for hospice and left. About 6 months after I found my gather passe away on his porch. Its been two years. Its been a rough road. My oncologist recently quit where I was going.. I am still here though. I am sorry for the long comment. Just sharing my whole story.. Again. I am still here. Still fighting.
They don't teach you in school that you need to fight for your life, even if you don't know you need too. Doctor will tell you your fine, young, see you next year. You have to be smart, and figure it out yourself. One dismissive doctor could be the only chance someone had.
Does anybody get Swollen glands on their neck when you drink milk? I’ve been researching about this because when I drink milk, my glands pop up and stay for a few days and don’t go away.
Idk what's wrong with my body😭 I have movable swollen lymph nodes on my jawline for more than 3 years and I'm completely fine. They don't hurt at all and they move very easily. WHAT THE HELL💀
this is the second video I've seen where they dont' mention the bone marrow test - which I had within a week of being diagnosed at a hospital as having "some kind of cancer". The hospital dr didn't say what kind because he couldn't have possibly known what kind. I don't understand English and Australian medicine. And waiting two weeks for a hospital contact? Why not immediately go to an oncologist? Absurd.
Love this man, a great friend for over 40 years. His courage and sense of humour in unbelievably challenging times is an inspiration that will always stay with me. Goodbye, Martin, and thank you for being in my life.
I came to visit Bangkok ,doctor found my both sides neck nodes are enlarged! But left one is more bigger… here the ENT specialist told me to take antibiotics for 7days and if it will not shrink then I have to go for biopsy! I have chronic tonsillitis! I am very much tensed 😖
Hi im lloyd. I was diagnosed with cml 2 weeks ago. i was devastated at first, but now just have to admit that this is what i have and i have to live with it just like the rest of you. They had to take a blood sample twice a week. i hope in the near future, they will have cure for all cancer.
My nephew was diagnosed in November soon after turning 51 with AML and TP53. I hope he can be part of a trial. He was diagnosed at Emery in Atlanta. He spends as much time in the hospital as he does at home. He has been told he has 6 months to a year to live. We hope and pray for a breakthrough and a miracle. I don’t know what else to say. There doesn’t seem to be much hope given in the information I have found. It is a helpless feeling. Just praying that God will make a way.
My sister is having heavy period flow and she is having her periods for 18 days continuous each month for past 2 months , her gums also bleed very often , she has quite some bruises on both her legs Can this be a sign Please let me know ASAP

Thank you. Left side face between ear and jaw. No pain. About 3 inches long by half wide. Lay down for hour it shrank but returned when on feet. Not sick or anything . . Just weird.. doctor calling soon 🤦
I am getting sick and tired of being fobbed off by GPs. I too started losing weight and had night sweats which I thought was just a long lingering effect of menopause. I'm a keen powerlifter and I suddenly became aware that doing my regular workout was getting hard. I started failing lifts which I previously did with ease. Walking to the shops and going home with a small bag of shopping entailed a rest on a couple of garden walls, I was so tired and out of breath. Absolutely ridiculous! I instinctively knew something wasn't right and telephoned GP. No appointments available (of course!) and I didn't have "shortness of breath" snapped the receptionist, "because you can still talk" but she made an appointment for me to see an emergency overflow GP practice in 2 days. Saw the doctor who thought I had menopause symptoms! (I was 65 at the time!) and ordered a full blood test. I mean really! Where do they get these people! Had to wait 5 days for a phlebotomy appointment by which time I was getting weaker. Did the blood test and was telephoned at 8am the next morning by our local teaching hospital and was told to come in NOW, no ifs or buts. I knew what was coming when the Macmillan nurse escorted me to the consultant haematologist's room, I had cancer. It was there that they admitted me to isolation, had bone marrow biopsies, heart scans, x-rays, a whole hoopla of testing and was told I had CML in blast crisis. My feet hardly touched the ground as they started the first round of 5 days of chemo and yes it was gruelling. I picked up a fungal infection in my lungs and got admitted to ICU. 7 weeks in hospital isolation and they are still treating the fungal infection and cannot proceed until it's killed off. I'm currently at home on targeted tablet therapy (was imatinib and then changed to the stronger dasatinib to really keep a foot on the white blood cells getting out of control). So now I'm in a state of Chronic myeloid leukaemia but stable. Apparently my "type" has been closely studied in the labs and they have even found a suitable donor which is my only chance of a cure. My hospital doctors and specialist nurse are just great. Sorry this is so long but if you FEEL something is not right, stand your ground and insist a full blood screen.
