Is the third angler necessary? Especially going over 40 and pairing it with droplet feels a little unlikely. Maybe a knightmare phoenix and/or cerb im the extra could be helpful. Ive liked their simple removal applications before.

I noticed an error in your explanation for the Thunder Dragon package. You can only discard Thunder Dragondark to specifically search another Thunder Dragondark. You cannot search Hawk from Dark's effect.

Well the good thing about playing just floodgates like skill drain is that if you do get hand trapped you will probably survive anyway because an skill drain hurts way more than any handtrap
Question hopefully someone can answer. Skill drain and nightmare pain, they take the damage. Do u take any damage at all back yubels negated or nightmare pain stops u from taking damage as well
im just not sure about the thunder package still. waiting for my case of LEDE in the mail so i can do some more testing too, i feel like this deck can safely go in several directions.
I'm starting to feel like people are moving in a very weird direction with this deck because of the unchained package and the super dreadnaughts. Dropping super poly just because the "extra deck is getting kinda tight", but then it's filled with redundant "nice to have" cards. Weird.
I play both golden sarcophagus and mature chronicle to get colossus out. Mature chronicle because i can search it for consistency, and golden sarc because one day ONE DAY ill get lucky with an auto-colossus off just 1 card with absolutely no effort
I just find it funny how I was right about people just calling the Yubel fusion "loving defender" since there were people saying the name was too long. Pretty interesting list. I might change my pot of prosperity for Allures now tbh. It's become a real struggle to choose what cards to banish for it and it's going to get worse when phantom of yubel gets released. pretty good list and hope it works out more in the future. Still not sold on the thunder dragon package since the end board is already good enough without it. maybe as a side deck choice going first but I wouldn't want to draw 1 or both of them going 2nd.
the thing is the extra deck is surprisingly becoming really tight in yubel. I only play 3 fusions, 2 loving defender and mudragon since that comes up way more than garura in the current format. cutting it out completely isn't good true but it's more of a link based strategy than anything now.
I only play one since it can be searched off Mature Chronicle if you really need to. I also play Eternal Favorite as an extra Super Poly if I really need to out their field.
I think Super Poly is gonna be more of a going second side deck card in Yubel since post Phantom of Yubel, players won't leave any other Yubel on the field until they've used Phantom which is most likely the last interruption they will use to not open themselves up to a Super Poly. But going second you can try and get your own Yubel on board to fuse their interruptions away. I do think Post Fiendsmith, it might get cut entirely, because good luck special summoning a Yubel with Caesar on the field. Although using Super Poly to just fuse away Varudras and Soul of Rage is still strong. But they do have follow-up.

Really can't wait for the official set phantom of yubel will be in. I bought the OCG version as a keepsake. I heard BOL Term Rev as the set to carry it, but we will see
I feel that Colossus was un-banned to boost strategies that don't relay only on adding cards from deck to hand . Snake-eyes ,tenpai dragons ,i think also melodious etc . Obviously its an extremely annoying card to deal but the game has evolved to the point that a colossus doesn't guarantee instant win. I think its easily comparable with winda , annoying card yes but not unbeatable. To be clear , i prefer it banned...
so it makes your gameplay dies because of nib, making it only as good as normal rakea pop trap + 3 interruptions without proper effect negation isn't really too much to handle + yo play more brick than pure unchained, which is already worst than yubel. Why even bothering trying to make yubel worst than unchained by trying to abuse a card not even out
Phantom counters nib And the end board is greay bc they gotta get through all the negates and also kill the nightmare pain so they dont have to kill themselfs on yubel
I just hope we get the new fusion soon. Maybe they import it in the set where they also release the new ritual beast support. I think it comes out in june. Would be such a bummer if we get it in like 1/2 a year+
Fun fact: 2 cards combo post lede but before phantom of yubel ends board with rage, varudras and colossus with yama in the grave to reborn yubel/spirit
not saving ash for Nightmare pain is wrong 100% of the time against Yubel. that's become one of their bigger choke points since it lets Throne beam out 2 bodies along with Spirit floating if we didn't trigger Throne before. The colossus line is cute but the Yubel deck already wins if we resolve the standard combo. it's better as a side deck option as a floodgate instead of main end board piece.
