I just can't get the airthrow ender. I'm not missing my sdj, as they're only just barely above throw height. Is there some kind of very small delay in here somewhere?
Omit the 2nd jA if you’re having issues and that’ll make it consistent. You won’t be using this route too often though. Even though I don’t use this combo much I still have it listed on the wiki because it works where the normal rejump doesn’t and she has other combos that use the air combo part of this route for optimal damage.
@@Vsolid yeah, that latter reason is why I'm learning it. It's less obnoxious to go through a starter to learn the timing than to go through a full genkyo route. Thank you though, especially for the quick reply! I'll just stick with that or do j.236B as an ender whenever I do it. The extra j.A isn't worth the headache I imagine.
Even off of the same routing (2C > 3X~C ... ) I prefer 214C setups, yeah. The reward on hit is worse since you cant get a jC starter, but the butterfly setup is reactable offline. I still use both. A nice bonus with 214C setups is you can use them to manage your meter and avoid heat, and you don't need to have your knife to do them in the first place. example: normal setup > 2C > 3X~C > 5C > 214C > jB(w) > 3C.
This mixup is easier to do than roll and better, just costs meter. I don’t think knife loops are hard but I can only think of maybe 1 other active one in America that can do them other than me so 🤷
5A6AA > jAC land > jAC > super double jump jAC > ender. You can get j236B ender without an sdj im pretty sure, but sdj keeps it consistent and puts you higher for air throw.
Sameside: After 3C microwalk forward before neutral jump drift into corner Crossup: No microwalk. Just drift into the corner. 5C 214C also works instead of 5BB and I think its more ambiguous but it works on fewer characters You could also in theory do stuff like iadb jC in the corner to explode low shield if they're mashing but thats not a layer 1 option. 624B is also on the table but since you're H-moon its not likely you have the meter to actually make 624B do real damage on hit. Much easier and more consistent than roll setups on the characters it works on. With roll mix I often struggle to actually get the side I want and it can be hard to actually get an invisible crossup instead of sameside.
