My main concern is that my family members are saved but other than that knowing I’m saved now has been the biggest relief I needed imo these date setting channels do the complete opposite of what they’re hoping to achieve
@@NicholasFreeman-ns9ed yeah I also get concerned with family members and their salvation. I have some family who listen to the Calvinist camp, people like John McArthur. That deeply concerns me but I just keep them in my prayers and when we end up talking about Christianity, I try to use grace language around them the best I can, stuff like Thank god Jesus paid the full price for our salvation, thank god we have total peace with god today and no condemnation in Christ Jesus, thank god He did all of the work for us by living a perfectly sinless life, shedding his blood on the cross, and raising three days later. I’ve been caught up in rapture channels a lot in the past and it can be depressing when they really convince you of a certain date, and then that date comes and goes and No rapture. But be encouraged brother, we have a short life on this earth, it is but a vapor in gods timeline, thank god we have daily rest in Christ’s finished redemptive work and that we can be assured that we have total security with the lord. @@TrentonComposes my grandmother is catholic but recently I talked to her about my faith and everything I said she agreed with me and it made me feel a little better because I believe she is saved now even though she is catholic
@@TrentonComposes I think it’s extremely wrong to mess with people like that and set dates because I would read some of those comments some of them sound like they’re ready to just give up when they say things like “I can’t wait to leave this wicked world” when you hear or read comments like that it sounds like they’re extremely ready and if they’re gullible enough to fall for the false predictions when the day comes they’re the ones who are going to be most disappointed and depressed that’s why I really wish people would just say things like “Jesus is coming back” because with that you’re saying something of hope while not giving a prediction or setting a date
@@TrentonComposes and it’s also very true that one of the two are imminent one day we will take our last breath or Jesus could come back in our life time nobody knows either way we’re saved and we have to nothing to worry about
@@NicholasFreeman-ns9ed yeah continue to pray for her hopefully she trusts the Finished redemptive work Jesus Christ did. I don’t think all Catholics are unsaved, even people like calvanists and other works based dispensations of Christianity. I feel like a lot of them have trusted the finished work Jesus did for us at some point and that they are saved and just under Galation error at the moment. Be encouraged tho all you can do as a believer is rest in the finished work Jesus did for us and Share the gospel as you know it. People only come to faith in the finished work by hearing it. Don’t be afraid to sound like a broken record sometimes and repeat the gospel be sure to preach the gospel to yourself daily too. People set dates all the time as a Christian who use to get worried listening to them I read the comments and they’re all going amen yeah he’s coming back you’re right for example people have set October 2 4 and/or 9 as rapture dates the one that worried me before I was saved and didn’t understand what I do now I fell for it when people said April 8 during the eclipse and may 18 because they were using numerology and they’re tons of them that use astrology to set their dates which the Bible calls astrology a sin if you believe in it and it’s especially annoying to me personally when they’re teach some false works gospel like calvinism and instead of saying like you did “if you believed in Jesus you’re going to be taken” they say stupid unbiblical things like “you’ll know you’ll get taken if you feel like you’ll get taken because you’re the elect” you know calvinism and when you give “no one knows the day or hour” they say to you “you just want to keep living in your sins and be lazy” I’m glad I’m not the only person who sees this stuff thanks brother
