the local 'chamber of commerce' promotes this since it gives motorists a brief instance to visually see the local merchants and therefore inspire a shopping opportunity.
this Guy is a whinger !!! no fuel gauge ,vibes on the bars , bad side stand , mirrors vibe what the fuck else is wrong with it ?? maybe you should stick to your Ninja or a royal enfield ffs wake up
This is something I'd expect from a cocky oil waster. You said the overtake by the cyclist at the 0:40 was "pointless" but that's completely untrue. Unlike lazy people like you who use oil to fuel your vehicle, cyclists use calories. Stopping means that we have to restart which takes more calories.
The driver turning into the petrol station started to indicate at the junction and didn't position his car well. He should've indicated after the junction and moved into the bus lane, thus showing other road users where he intends to go. And make the move even if it means the cyclist have to slow down. He hesitated which the cyclist try to capitalise on. Cyclists are like hyenas, opportunists, risk takers.
I have the very same model, year, colour, but 8 years later, and it's a delightfull bike. Extremely easy, classy, sophisitcated, beautiful and funny to drive. Adding an axhaust is a MUST on this bike, it reveals some character hidden behind, makes it lighter, and adds some pick up. Lovely bike! ^
1:58 That's the type of thing I see all the time. Cyclists moving from right to left then trying to pass on the left someone who is in front and clearly indicating left. Some cyclists put themselves into direct conflict all the time and wonder why have an accident.
would also like to know! if it's any reassurance, he was active on twitter up til Nov 2016, so seems he made a choice to stop doing these youtube videos. Here's to hoping he returns and he's in a good place at the moment.
I have a cbr 650 f and changed everything I didnt like. full exhaust system, blinkers, tail light, etc. I love this bike, you can do everything with it and it never lets you down. A reliable save choice. I guess this bike is really overlooked and understated for what it actually is. But each to theri own. Im happy :)
I have been riding a similar bike for a year and a half. Previously I had the 2001 (5th gen) which had a different engine: no VTEC and gear cams. It was much more powerful, but spent a bit more gas. It's the only thing I'm missing in this model. I feel this bike lighter, better breaks, better suspension, but lacks engine. Also had to get used to the led lights. The 5th gen lights were bulb, but lighted better. As for extras, I got the OEM quickshifter, which is fun and makes it feel more sportier and also a lighter, shorter and with better sound slip-on exhaust from SC Project. For what is available in the market, it has a good value for the money. Overall it's a good bike for commuting and travel. In some ways I wish Honda wasn't so much conservative and would bring better electronic goodies, such as traction control and/or riding modes, eventually getting rid of VTEC. The engine has potential for more than it's specs, but unfortunately Euro rules killed it to the point Honda is not releasing any V4 model soon, which is a shame, when other brands, like Ducati, are being able to make sportier V4 engines compliant to those regulations. Hopefully in a near future we can see a new V4 block engine on a future VFR. Thank you for your video! Happy New Year!
Can i just ask a couple of questions as some who is about to probably buy a new one very soon that gear lever prob, whatwas that all about ,and also what sort of milage did you do before selling ,did you have any probs.
Really enjoyed the review, thanks. Great point about the muscle-memory and self cancelling indicators. Also amusing to see how you settled into the VFR way over the course of the video. It's not the quickest bike in the world by a long shot, but it's still something that'll do 0-60 under 4s and is still somehow serenely calming.
Maybe you won't comeback but i will always remember all your memes videos with your cbf 125. They were Golden and this video is still a perfect tribute to our passion in 2020.
