@@HUEEY Well I already do the same with 190. I like being able to go past 700 km/h without worrying about compression or wing-ripping and using all that energy to go back up if needed. As 109 you need to slow down and you lose that precious speed to disengage if attack failed. I'm just addicted to the advantages of the 190. Climb-rate is overrated imo.
how is it nerfed?? I played this plane several times and I managed to reverse a couple people, and gun them down the climbrate isn't too bad and the guns hit hard roll rate is good and diving characteristics are also good I don't see any problem with the aircraft.
All A-5's got a flight model nerf. They turn worse, flat spin essier, and lose elevator authority completely under 300km/h. They used to be able to turn with P-51's and roll or snap-roll at any speeds but now they just fall outof the sky doing that. They also overheat like crazy. It was said the overheating will be fixed in next major update. Fingers crossed.
@@the6tharmy I don't really let the overheating issue affect my focus on the battle, I don't use manuel controls either i don't really see it as a problem until the Temp starts flashing red by then i just throttle down to 90%-95% to compensate, other then that idc about the 'overheating' nerf.
@@Redbaron1006-warthunder well you either didn't fly much A-5's or you are pretty useless in it running it at 90%, that is over 200HP loss. You are not climbing or catching or outrunning anything.
@@the6tharmy I keep my engine at 100% consistency, and I side-climb because of the average climbrate, also its a pretty good headon machine, but the main strength of it is in the reversals, also i try to gain and balance my energy states between altitude and airspeed, i try to get to 5000m and at about 400km/h of airspeed.
@@HUEEY I liked the C.202 in German Tech tree back in the day. So I was happy to see the more advanced models get into the game. They look really nice and rock some satisfying firepower.
It started to self-explode recently, thx to Gaijin's ridiculous decision to equip almost all German HE shells with self-destruct fuze, while there were also non-self-destruct fuses available. Self destruct made sens when defending against allies, it makes 0 sense in WT setting, it's only role is to further nerf MG151/20 (why is Shvak so damn superior in ballistics and so damn effective damage-wise?).

@@the6tharmy As mainly a German tech tree player, I have several German air squad presets with one of them consisting of non-premium Rank 3 and Rank 4 BF109's and Fw190's. I intentionally stopped researching the BF109's after getting the G14 version and have yet to obtain the Fw190-D12 (which is fully researched) simply due to its seemingly similar performance metrics compared to the other Fw190's. How would you rate the Fw190-D12 compared to the other Fw190's with my current favorite to fly being the Fw190-F8? 🤔
Dude I love your vids. I’m a lover of germanies planes. Here’s a quick question for you, why do you prefer the 190’s over the 109’s. Not saying I don’t love the 190 of course they are one of my favorites, but the 109’s characteristics early and sometimes late game are better. Besides the 152 h-1 and Dora variants of course those I’d rather have than a k-4 any day lol
They always modeled the A5 on the Jabo versions with 100s of kilos of belly armor. They banned me from their forums a decade ago for pointing this out. It is almost like they hate German stuff. Weird.
Back when I was a noob I spammed the A-4. Had terrible KD with it, but atleast when the 20s hit they killed. Now the 190As are actually helples. Well except the A1.
A-8 and F-8 and Doras are still good. Not great but good. A-1 is almost OP at 3.0 All A-4 + S-5's are garbage now due to overheating and flightmodel nerfs.
Crap climb, shit turn, easily flatspin, weak engine, and lots of hit with 20mms. This was my favourite plane. Remember how good it was, when the max br was 9.3
A real shame, and it makes no sense either. While there are truly OP and broken planes being spammed and abused. The devs who all but abandoned props, as can be seen by the excessive spam of copy paste planes and ridiculous hydroplanes and Rank 1 garbage. They went out of their way and targeted 190's specifically on a grand scale and made them overheat to the point of uselessness. The best cooling system of WW2 is now among the worst, meanwhile He177, TIS-MA, I-225, I-185, ITP, Yak-3 vk-107, La-7 don't overheat despite be known for engine troubles and engine fires, catastrophic failures. Yet the fighter with least overheating issues, actually none, gets hit by this nerf. A-5 was the first 190 I really started learning 190's on. Many idiots, maining post war experimental super props but also the common Rank 3 undertiered OP plane abuser love the fact that the only Axis plane that could run them down in a dive is now nerfed. A-5 being rekt, means J2M, Ki-84, Yaks and Spitfires and La's can breath easily now.
A-1's overheating nerf is annoying, especially on the hot maps but still manageable. A-4 is literally the best "A-5" and also has lowest br. At 4.0 and gets 4 cannons. The overheating is still bad but not as unplayable as A-5's. The Antons that are not nerfed at all in terms of overheating are the F-8 and A-8. They literally have the best cooling out of all 190's atm. A-8 can even run 0 % rads on some maps. Doras have been nerfed too but they are manageable like A-1.
@@the6tharmy I never bother with MEC, A1 has enough performance for the overheating not to be that much of an issue imo. A4 yeah, not just best A5, but also best anton overall, if only u could take off the mg/ff's to reduce the weight. A5's and A/F8 are just boats, not worth flying compared to the 109's next to it...

Very masterful, thanks for the upload. I thought they only nerfed the 190 A5/U14 Torpedo premium one for turn rate and the normal ones were fine ... I definitely noticed the overheating issue with MEC though ... If I don't drop down engine throttle to 80% and wait for 30 sec, it just won't cool down the Oil Temps ... Please keep making it work! I like the music, good choice for the hype!
A-1, A-4, A-5's and Doras overheat way more now. A-1 and Doras are managebale still but the rest are just boilers at this point almost unplayable. F-8 and A-8 cooling systems are untouched and pretty much the best of all Fw190s atm. A-5 also got a huge flight model nerf and cannot turn as well anymore, now P-51's outturn you which wasn't the case before. You stall super easily by doing a roll or snap roll for which the 190's are famous for but now just flatspin. A-5 is borderline unplayable, on hot maps you literally can't even fly more than 80% throttle or you kill your engine in 1 minute.
@@mafiagonzalez6215 Sounds like I was right to switch to allied planes and Germany's early jets. I mean, the FWs never turned well and since I am playing allied planes I basically always win. The Doras were the last straw for me because of BnZ. Oh well...
