Tom, I have started the detailing for the Tamiya 1/32 Corsair R-2800. I'm using the AN079 set of plugs and connectors. Looking at them in the video it appears that the plug wire will fit into the connectors you have mounted on the distribution ring. I believe these connectors have a 0.3mm mounting hole for the plug wires. I am using some 0.3mm braided fishing line but cannot figure out how to it into the connectors without splaying the braid. I can get some 0.2mm line but then the scale will be off. So what it boils down to is what is the trick for attaching the braided line to the connector / plugs. Another questions is if I decide to use the nuts and washers I assume I will need to sand/file down the kit molded ones then drill a mounting hole for the replacements. hey joe, i used some regular electrical wires for the injection lines.. if i remember correctly the diameter was something around 0.25mm... i glued them with CA glue.. and.. yep - the original kit nuts were removed & surface sanded down. after that i drilled holes to keep the resin nuts in place... cheers! tom
@@anyzmodels Thanks, its a good thing I like drilling really, really small holes. I guess you sprayed the copper wire black then installed them. A new quest has arrived, find copper wire that will fit the hole. I must say you are one of the easiest people to work with. Many thanks. Joe
