Hi I have a question, in order to get from Manchester Victoria to Trafford centre by tram, I believe you have to switch trams at deansgate for the Trafford line? If so, do I have to tap in at deansgate as well then tap out at Trafford or do I tap in at Manchester Victoria then tap out at Trafford centre? Asking for a friend as I’m not local and I’m planning on going Trafford centre in a week!

You didn't say how to pay on once on the tram.... how do you know when your stop will be at Co-Op Live? I've never been to Manchester before and I'm planning on going to Manchester to see a concert in late November... Is tram a tap-on tap-off service like many of the First and Arriva busses in the UK? Do i need to tell the tram driver where to stop?
@@jagdeepkaul1261 thank you for getting in touch, A, coop live arena is only four stops eastbound on the Ashton line from Piccadilly, get off at Etihad Campus Tram Stop B, to pay you can either tap on at a platform validator, and the tap off at your destination, dead easy C, you can buy a paper ticket from any tram stop. If you are going to the coop get a ticket covering two zones, it’s pretty straightforward D, the tram WILL stop at every station no matter what. Check the tfgm website, because at the moment anyone attending the coop live arena for a concert etc, can travel for free on the Metrolink

My concert at Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester will probably finish at around 10:30pm til 11ish at night (i'm only guessing here but it seems to be a general consensus that's when most concerts finish), once it finishes and i exit the building, will a tram be waiting for me outside? or do they stop running after a certain time? Because obviously i need to ensure I make it back to my hotel which will be at the Holiday Inn outside of Manchester Picadilly Train station... So how regular are the trams? will i have to wait a long time at the tram stop outside of Co-Op Live for the tram to arrive late at night? Will the trams even be running at that time? thank you... I appreciate any help I can get as this will be my first time in Manchester, I've never been on a tram before so this will also be my first time on a tram as well as my first time in Manchester, thanks.
@@jagdeepkaul1261 hi, trams generally run until midnight Sunday to Thursday, 1am Friday & Saturday, there will be plenty of trams heading back towards Piccadilly , you won’t have to wait long at all. if the weather is ok, it’s a nice walk back to Piccadilly along a well lit, and secure path
