I have a Cigna advantage savings plan, HMO. Up to $20k a year in prosthetics, etc. Which is free since I'm on SSI/DI here South of Houston. I need 21 extractions because my teeth started breaking off in my 30's & I'm 53 now & haven't smiled since i was in the 8th grade. I wish that i could locate help around here starting in 2024.
Dental insurance is a compete scam. And Dentists are scammers. It's a no win situation. The insurance never delivers what they promise and the dentists drastically overcharge because they know you are at their mercy. The game is rigged folks. As she said, if all you need is preventive care go ahead and buy an HMO. Preferably a cheap one. But I would caution about asking a dentist what insurance to buy because they will undoubtedly steer you into a plan that serves their best interest. Sure they will lure you in by advertising how they accept all insurance including HMO, PPO, Etc. But once you make the appointment and inquire they will all discourage the HMO and steer you into an expensive plan. I know this far too well.
I live close to the Mexicali, Mexico. LOTS OF PEOPLE go to Mexico for dental work......lots of Canadians and other winter visitors. Now, I can see why.
Facts. Dental insurance will take ur money all year long and everything you paid into if not used at the end of the year is GONE. I'll be heading to Mexico soon too

What a misleading title. Where is the hack? This is just an advertisement mentioning that you accept delta dental insurance. You are pushing more people away from your business by doing that, you should probably change the title of the video. Creating a title with the sole purpose of getting views without it having anything to do with the actual content is unethical and people know that. It’s not sneaky or smart.

Proposition 56 was a scam orchestrated by the above entities, the above policy was written for their own personal gain, it does not help Californians. Early 2018, I spoke with a member from the California dental association, it was stated to me, by a representative they only represent the dentist within their organization, they do not represent the public.
Delta Dental and the other insurances places in Washington are garbage. Washington is the only state where a waiting period of 6-12 to use any Dental benefits. That means every single dental plan offered in Washington you have to wait at least 6 months to start using benefits. In other states like California the same dental plan you get day 1 coverage and no waiting period whatsoever. For example Ameritas is a dental insurance plan and in Washington you have to wait 6 months to start using the benefits but in California you get day 1 coverage. Washington is all about that money and the greediest state out of all the other states, and it's no surprise people are moving out of that god awful state. With the worse roads in America and being in the top 3 for being the most expensive place to live I'm not surprised people are moving out and not looking back.
I live in texas and we get coverage the next day after signing up but I would give that up to live in Washington because you guys have marijuana dispensaries. Lol
Ive had Delta for about 15 years. If i got back all the money I ever paid them then that would cover all dental work Ive ever had done. Don't waste your money on Delta. I don't know if there is something better since I pay delta through my employer. You actually are better off just getting rid of Delta and taking the weekly/monthly premiums and putting them into your own account. And im not having $5000 dental surgery just normal teeth pulling. A $1500 a year maximum cap and they might cover 60% of the bill. Thats like trying to feed a tiger with a cheeseburger. Not nearly enough. finally got tired of it after i had to cancel my last dental appointment to remove 2 molars because the insurance would barely cover half the cost. "Delta Dental is simply the best, which is why 60 million Americans make them their choice for dental insurance." If that statement is really true than thats the sorriest statement about the dental insurance industry. Done with it.
I have a basic Delta Denta plan, $48/month for 2 people. 4 cleanings a year for us would cost $800 here in NYC. So, it’s good for that. Other things they don’t pay too well.
I was in the process of signing up for the best Delta PPO available to me when I was informed that the max benefit was $1500 per year. The work that I need done is is going to cost thousands of dollars so I fail to see how Delta (or any other dental insurance now that I've looked deeper) is anything other than a scam. By the time I pay my fee for the plan then any deductible that will eat up the $1500 that they will pay. I clicked on this video because it said, "Delta Dental Insurance HACKS" expecting the video to explain what hacks/scammers they are, not for it to be an advertisement.
I live in California and my dad got me deltacara usa hmo and i got an emergency check up from the dentist office my family goes to for years but o am no longer with them due to me being 29 and they dont take deltacare hmo but they determined that i need full mouth extractions and dentures. Do you have any insight one if most of the procedure would be covered with deltacare usa hmo? Im currently waiting till the 2nd because of an infected molar and the broken tooth behind it which has been causing extremely severe pain, as I don't know if they'll extract those 2 teeth on the 2nd which is want i want because I've been dealing with the pain for 2 months already but id rather get all extractions so i can start living a healthier life. I have been trying for years. Finally gave up. I currently have an ad on an international Craigslist site to trade a kidney (not a joke) for an all on four procedure. My teeth were destroyed due to acid reflux since childhood and I can't do it anymore.

@@josephingersoll828 I got no help. But, please don’t give up. I eventually got on a city program that helped me get dentures. It took a lot of time to get in. I’ll be honest… the influx of immigrants here in Texas from the Mexico border caused the waiting list to be about a year and a half. But my number eventually came up. Please, please don’t do anything drastic. The right time and place is just waiting. It WILL happen.
