Excellent work and result. I still have a red colour one in original condition. It was one of my favorit toycars those days. Often it had to tow a caravan from the french Majorette brand. Nice to watch this video 😊
Hi, thank you for this video! I am having the same issue, but more symptoms I’m having is that the key blade does not unlock the door. Did the key blade work for unlocking your door when the actuator was faulty? Also LED on the driver door keeps flashing (as if the alarm system is on), and when I go got start the car it says “SAFE” on the dash. Did you experience any of the symptoms with the car? Thanks
Here's another thing you didn't bet on. I already showed Jane Krakowski about just how funny/phony the Riddler/Ed NYGMA looks according to reality. To dress up like a male/female hippie is different compared to impersonating the Riddler, in fact any Marvel or DC Comic book villain you name. You can go ask a psychologist or psychiatrist this. He/she'll tell you the truth about it. Even though a hippie dresses really lousy. I also hardly ever see any real life person impersonate the Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future characters. Since they came in late. They came in Sept 1987, not 1939. Since the Mattel Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future action figures came first. I sometimes do, begin to wonder who else collects those action figures? The Bio-Dread Empire of the 22nd century. Get it?
I loved and owned many Matchbox cars/trucks that were pre-Superfast and also Superfast versions. Can't explain why, but this ambulance was my favorite. As a kid, I loved how it came with a stretcher with a patient molded into the stretcher. I loved how you could slide the patient in and out into place in the ambulance. Hats off to an excellent resto you performed on that example!
That was a serious basket case. Amazing you were able to restore it at all. You never think about how delicate some of these toys are, and yet they can survive plenty of play...normally. Cheers, Timo.
Taking the door panel off I just broke 3 of the clip on the RHS/out bit, I appears the panel doesn’t just pop off but needs to be lifted once the bottom bit is detached
