This was a good watch. I just got done reading Jason Miller’s Protection and Reversal Magick and he too goes into the topic of exorcism. And like you said, a proper exorcism is an entire ritual and a process and it can be very dangerous. Personal opinion when it comes to any sort of spirit, be them ancestors, deities, angels, demons, Fae etc... if a person continuously speaks bad of them, blames them for everything that goes wrong in life.... Chances are sometimes those entities will retalliate. I agree 100% that most exorcism cases were somehow orchestrated by the church, in the sense that the "possessed" were actually mentally ill, and needed professional help, but instead they were deceived into believing a demon was inside of them. But for those cases that might have been real, or that are real demonic possessions or poltergeists or whatnot... Just a wild thought, but maybe sometimes the "devils" are tired of crappy people putting blame on them, or they get fed up with being constantly insulted. Like.... Just an idea, but maybe humans who are spiritual or religious, and who believe in the supernatural, should mind their business and not play with fire by denigrating supernatural entities of any kind. Especially because they do believe in it, so they are more open to it. It's ok to admit to oneself that something isn't for you (I do not work with demons, not because I think they're evil, but because I just don't resonate with them, so I just respect them deeply from a distance ). Incidentally I do worship and work with Loki, who was demonized a lot by Christian authors over the centuries. And it's my personal gnosis that he doesn't enjoy being vilified for no reason except that he is a pagan God. So why would demons be ok with being vilified because they represents the other side of the coin within the Christian belief system?

You get to hear actual cases acted out with explanations from an actual exorcist that tells you "hey, this is what this is and this is what not to do or what to do if it happens to you". Episode one is about a women who couldnt have a baby. She wasn't religious but tried praying and when that didnt work she turned to the occult and that was enough for demonic stuff to happen. Modern Christians have made a huge mistake, which is teaching that other gods and spirits are just fake and creations of human beings. While yes, humans create idols, to say that it’s impossible to gain power from them is a fundamental misunderstanding of the Bible. We see lots of biblical occasions where polytheistic people have supernatural abilities and powers. The important part is that all their power pales in comparison to God’s power, because He’s over every possible entity (which is why the Bible describes idols as useless, because why would you need a god that’s confined to a little statue when you have the true God of the universe with you). Denying the existence of other powers is just inaccurate and i think we all know ignorance is not always bliss. Now to clarify, I don’t believe that we should worship other gods alongside the true God because He is perfectly sufficient for us alone (then again I’m Jewish so we have our own standards which are the same as the ancient Israelites as you described), but I do think it’s important to take into account what the Bible actually says about other divine beings. I mean, if we look at Exodus at the Song of The Sea, one of the most famous verses from it is “Who is like You oh Lord among the gods? (Or celestials, depending on the Bible. The point is it’s referring to other divine beings.) it’s not saying those divine beings don’t exist, but that God is higher than all of them combined, and that’s why we worship him and not the others.

I agree with everything you said! My personal take on spirituality as a whole is.... It's a matter of the heart and soul. Spiritual belief, in my opinion, has nothing to do with concrete scientific proof. It's what rings true to one's heart. And even so, our perceptions of the same gods or spirits will unavoidably differ. Personally? I vibe with old testament God a lot. I like his warlike, burning hot type energy. Of course I also like that he is willing to send an aspect of himself (Jesus) to Earth, and experience a human life. But like... Yeah, we will vibe with different aspects of the gods. And that's beautiful. I think that the Bible itself is.... Divinity and revelations from the divinity, that have been interpreted by humans, with their own life experience, perspective, and even limitations and prejudices. Hence why even when I read the Bible, personally, I take what resonates, and simply allow what doesn't resonate to just exist. I leave it alone, it's not for me and I move on. And I feel like that's something that God would want for me specifically. Read the Book™ with a critical eye, interpret it, filter it through my own mind and life experience, and apply it to my day to day challenges and whatnot.

So many anti LGBT stuff out there in an attempt to control people and for the life of me, I can't imagine either why you would want to stay with someone who doesn't want to be with you! My husband and I are common law married, in sin according to many so called Christians, however we are happier than many of those Christian Mariages because we are both here because we want to be and love each other.
