Nottingham Lake in Avon is very nice as well. I think you could take the mountain bike trail from Vail to get their. Have you seen much snowmelt? I've seem some impressive videos on East Vail Falls.
I'VE been studying these creatures most part of 45 years the face that you see is not by chance, test show sometimes it is real carved in to the rock, other times it is a type of projected hologram so real it has a solid touch, you need a tripod a camera and walk away for 50 min, if its fake it will begin to slowly fade away always in 50 minor less completely most times 20 to 30. MY theory it isn't sasquatch that does it all the time, sometimes pure evil does it so that he can say man worships these beast, my best guess, sorry if i disappointed you.. MY GOD i just realized the faces are all over this photo, this most likely could be satans work?
I chatted with a friend in Colorado who said the snowpack is still pretty significant. The path along the Gore Creek is really nice as well. Special place for sure.
