Vincent Van Gogh is one of my top 2 favorite painter’s. I love the technique you used to recreate his Starry Night painting. I will most definitely be trying your technique to see if I can recreate this painting as well. Thank you for making this amazing tutorial, it turned out great.😊
Thank you…I have my 2nd graders make this on Van Gogh’s birthday at the end of March. Van Gogh is one of my favorites for sure! I wish I could make a self portrait the way he did with the gray felt hat. I’ve never found anyone to emulate that style.
I used to yarn paint on cardboard, but now on canvas so I can properly frame it. I use sharp scissors, Elmer’s glue (white glue), and yarn. I sketch a picture onto canvas and color match my yarn to the picture. Thanks! It’s really not all that difficult, but takes time. Plus, it looks like a tapestry when finished! I’ve completed Starry Night before, but plan on doing it again since I have better color choices! Stay tuned! 🧶🎨👍🏻
