Chocolates again. Where are mine. Looks like a really nice hotel. Could you please video around the grounds more. Also could you look at visiting some affordable hotels so you can do a comparison.
Kuwait looks beautiful. Great indepth video, love the interaction with staff. Chocolates look amazing. Where are mine!? BTW get the name right and not 'whatever you want to call it'.
2:02 statue is of the first and the last king of lithuania Mindaugas. Really enjoyed your video. You should title it: Arrogant American goes to Vilnius and comments everything without any research. If it's comedy video it should be titled like that.
You filmed this about an hour after most of the island finishes work for the day and goes home to their families and you're wondering why it's quiet? The island has a population of under 100K and they don't all live in Douglas, what were you actually expecting? Really not doing and favours with the dumb american tourist stereotype here.
I've lived on the Isle of man for 15 years and it's beautiful. You should come during the Tzt if u want a "vibe". The flag is 3 legs of Man which means which ever way you throw me, I shall stand.
Haha, I am from Isle of Man and I find this video hilarious. It’s like a parody: Oh no a river, how boring. Urgh, people walking on a prom! Omg, a Lloyds bank, how unoriginal! Only one mountain, try harder!
doesnt even do the research to know where in the world he is. basic fact. city of douglas isle of man 0.42 isle of man flag en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Isle_of_Man#:~:text=The%20flag%20of%20the%20Isle,back%20to%20the%2013th%20century. 3.01 snaefell mountain. mountain railway running since 1895 3.31 idiot even missed the zebra crossing twenty feet away, duh. 4.20 tower of refuge completed in 1832 and build by sir william hillary, who founded the RNLI 5.35 manx money is legal tender in england etc. banks swap it with no problem. 6.30 the water he is trying to see is from the river that makes the wheel revolve, it isnt the water pumped up from the mines below. 8.55 the statue is a salmon, manx expression there is a boat in the morning.
Turkey looks truly amazing even better at night. Such history and culture. Could you go again and maybe do a deep dive into the history please. Keep up the good work.
You fail to mention many details, and it's clear you didn't really bother to do any research on the hotel. It's a grade 2 listed historical building built in 1906 as the headquarters of North Eastern Railways, a major railway company. It only became a hotel in 2010, and due to the historic nature of the building, they have to preserve the original features. The pool was in the old vaults. You might have noticed the huge safe doors down there. As it was, you were staying in the extension added in 2018. Probabably because you seem not to like old things. Odd since you were in York, an ancient city, where most of the tourist attractions are based on its history.
@nigelwalker6103 Yes unfortunately this video was meant to be a review of the service and the hotel itself, however I will keep your comments in mind and try to do more research and add more histoy with my upcoming videos.
I guess he wants to make a name for himself making bad, inaccurate and rude travel videos. Good luck! There are plenty of other videos of the Isle of Man which are far better.
Unfortunately, your camera work needs a lot of improvement, so shaky, it’s almost unwatchable. As a Londoner I’ve no cause to stay at this hotel but like calling in for coffee in the morning. Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous quality building (Edwin Cooper, a great architect) not at all commercialised, service usually excellent. I real favourite of mine displaying the best of this famous brand.
@paullewis2413 yes unfortunately my phone wasn’t very stable however they will be much better in the future as I now have the right tech, the building was great a lot of history there for a four seasons property.
