I firs performed at the age of 17 like you did also in London, but not in Soho. This was a charity concert for the benefit og the social org. Release, The concert took place at City University, Londo near the Euston area. Love Mr.Stai ❤
Moments fly. People age within what feels like a matter of seconds but when it dawns on us its years. I met gary numan before the show on 6th and those 2 minutes I spent speaking to him are with me forever. I'm going to treasure the album he signed for me. Recording shows people go to are their way of preserving memories.
mmmm just like is the case with a band like Yes this is not really Jethro Tull but a kind of 'polished up' tributeband even if/when you bring in a guitarist who looks a bit like a young Martin Barre. I stopped going to Tull live shows quite some years ago already mostly because i did not wanted to see Ian struggeling with his voice and feel a bit embarrassed while watching/hearing it...
I thought I would love this, as I am a Tull fan, but Ian's half-step behind the music while singing is just annoying. I've heard him do much better live.
August 10th of this year, Ian Anderson will become 77 years old. What is remarkable is that he is still kicking ass on stage, bringing his rock and roll music to his fans all over the world. His influence and popularity around the world cannot be questioned. Why he isn't in the rock and roll hall of fame is despicable and an insult to the Hall and needs to be corrected immediately.
