Yeah, I want this bad, but I love my MI handguard. I have a bunch of other stuff from y'all but I need a heat shield that'll work with the MI handguard
It is more complicated than just the handguard, the heat shield is designed for the dimensions of the benelli M4 barrel specifications as well. I am not sure if clones will work, nor are they guaranteed to fit.
It was nice of you to make this video, and there are people who need it. But it makes me very sad that there are people who need a video explaining how to do this. A note with the product stating the torque spec for the screws should be enough.

This mod just retired the Gen 2 model M1014 and the Midwest Industries handguard. Probably pissed off Benelli too lol. I'm looking forward to buying this.
@@palijim mil spec picatinny rail, integrated cowitness ready RMR, cowitness ready aimpoint T2, cowitness ready Acro P2. For now those are all I'll be doing. Aimpoint will be coming in 2025, RMR and picatinny will be available this fall with the heat shield.
Just ordered an m4. This will be the first upgrade i will want to do. Is there any way to contact you about how some of the upgrades work? i want to do a few other upgrades, but I don't want to buy stuff i can't install
@mightywookiee6633 It doesn't look like they'll work together - not without some workbench engineering. With the cost of both pieces, there's some potential for an expensive 'oops'.
Dumb question: currently have IWC light mount, will i still be able to use that with the heat shield? Also, have you tested to see how hot the heat shield can get?
I do not have that light mount to test, but I suspect it will not fit. As for heat, I have gotten it hot enough to make the handguard uncomfortable to hold, but the top was completely fine.

Thanks for the reply. We never intended to have a purpose built magazine cap be part of the heat shield assembly, but it ended up being the final missing piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately I can't go backwards on previous sales of our Ti mag cap, it is still an amazing cap for SBS shotguns, and also those who are not wanting the heatshield. The heat shield package includes helicopter tape as shown on the video here.
So will it work for the black aces tactical s4 of which is another name for the AKSA arms S4. The website confused me as far as which one is compatible for the BAT S4 (AKSA S4) which is confusing because it is comparing all Benelli m4 parts so how can it work for others but not that one???
@@rxarms I know of the list on the website. I stated I was aware of that list in the comment I just needed clarification because the list says one version is incompatible but the other is even though it’s just another name for the same shotgun. So I was confused.
@@gameshark08 I am sorry I can't be more specific, these are from end user reports, we have not tried this mag extension on the clones, so I am just passing on reports from our user base.
So with my benelli m4 colapsable stock, I cannot unscrew the recoil pad because there are no screws visible to unscrew. It this rear mount doesn't work for my stock, what options are available? Thanks
@@hello-u2w I’ve contacted you via email, but yes there are screw’s they are just hidden, need to stick a Philips screw driver into the 2 dimples on the recoil pad.
