I’d like to see the research supporting this. My understanding is that gherelin is the reason for all weight rebound. The more fat you lose the more gherelin your body produces. ESG leaves the fundus intact so it should have full capacity to ramp up gherelin. VSG fundus is removed so how does the body reconstitute gherelin?

This is so wrong, that’s not what happens post op. You will feel this way for the first 2 weeks, but if you don’t maintain this level of malnutrition, your stomach gets bigger with time.
