Many thanks for your kind words Rhys, much appreciated, was great meeting you and having a chat, take care and wishing you all the best from Epic Walks Wales.
@@thedavids.tv1 Just subscribed to you, from Swansea I see, we use to live in Hendy near Pontardulais, we are now living in Carmarthen but still go to Swansea often particularly Verdis in Mumbles, love Swansea, will have a look at your Videos soon, I do need a 4K camera as mine is a cheap one bought for me as a birthday present and not good enough really, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
Dear Lucy, would not be my choice either but the free non copyright music is all I can use from the RU-vid Library, I cannot put good appropriate music on unless I pay money as there are Copyrights to them, also our videos are aimed at showing people the scenery who like walking or rambling and are looking for good walks in Wales, they are not intended as promotional videos representing Wales, I do not receive any money for the videos, if I did I would pay for good Music and purchase a professional camera with a good microphone, the camcorder that I use was a gift on my birthday to video my grandchildren and is a very cheap one with limitations, videos that you have seen on RU-vid with good music generally pay for the good music and or have special permission, hope this explains things a bit better for you, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
You had beautiful weather again! Done the Rhyd Ddu path three times and it's my favourite one as it is usually quieter. Take care out there. I love your quality photography.
Your coastline is not unlike ours here in North Devon and it looks stunning when you capture it. I have never been to Fishguard as all my tours of Ireland have sailed from Pembroke Docks. Will be in Wales again next year so maybe then.
Great video, amazing views ! It feels awesome to see those mountains again now that I'm back home ! It was a pleasure meeting you both and I hope we'll see each other again someday on another hike ! Cheers from France ❤ Benoît.
Many thanks for your kind words, it was good speaking to you and to know you are safely home, its a small world and once again we may walk the same mountain and have a good chat, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
Nice to see both of you looking as fit as ever! The filming in this video is the best I've seen on Yr Wyddfa in a long time. Looking forward to the next.
Many thanks Jack, when we got to the top it was a total white out, could not see anything further than our nose, lucky we waited for over an hour then it cleared a bit for some filming at the top, was told one person fell 10 meters off Crib Goch helicopter rescue came hope he is OK, take care Jack our faithful follower from Epic Walks Wales.
Hi Nathan, many thanks for your kind words, glad to be of help and that you made it back safely, also congratulations to you both for that heroic adventure across Crib Goch, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
Hi Sharon, yes providing the dog is fit to walk the distance, there are three steep incline hills but no steep drop off cliffs as I remember providing you stick to the obvious regular paths, you do have the option to leave Moelwyn Bach which is what I would do next time and just do Moelwyn Mawr or you can do both, when we did this walk the gate was open to walk across the dam edge but if closed you have to walk across below the dam, however the scenery is stunning at the top of Moelwyn Mawr, but do check visibility before going, take care, good luck and all the best from Epic Walks Wales.
Hi, thanks for your kind words, I have only done the circular walk of Llyn y Fan Fach to Llyn y Fan Fawr starting from Llyn y Fan Fach car Park which is around 9 miles or 15km, the Llyn y Fan Fach car park can be seen in google maps if you copy and paste the following in google maps, it is an easier and dryer route: N51.899849 W3.745336 Hope this helps, all the very best from Epic Walks Wales.
What a lovely video of places familiar to me almost all my life. When I was a child we used to slide down Dinas Bran on our backsides the grass was so shiny and slippery from constant cropping by sheep.I remember the first Eisteddford after the war 1946? Walks along the canal to Froncyllte or Llantisilio….glorious! Thank you so much for taking me on those walks again…at age 84 I couldn’t do it under my own power now.
Absolutely love your videos, my favourite couple for all your Eryri mountain hikes. May I ask if you think Moel Hebog is ok for a dog? Mine has done many with me but I’ve read that there is a scramble near the peak. He has managed Cader Idris(Minfordd Path), Rhinog Fawr, Arenig Fawr, Moel Siabod, just wondering if this one is any harder than those for a dog? Thanks 😊
Hi, many thanks for your kind words, much appreciated, yes your dog should be OK, I would say it is the same as Cader Idris and Moel Siabod, I don't recall a scramble, when we did this walk a 7 year old boy did it with his mother, I was amazed how he did it, do check the forecast for good visibility as it has been very foggy in North Wales this year, if you decide to come back through the forestry as a circular walk be careful many do take the wrong path and get a bit lost, good luck and take care from Epic Walks Wales.
This was a tough one Jamie, coming back back down the steep part on the full circle crippled our knees, took a few months to recover, if we ever did it again we would come back down the same way as we went up, many thanks Jamie from Epic Walks Wales.
All best regards my grandson David appoint my location to this place, is brilliant for new upcoming fair projects... Your videos are inspiring and wish you all the best. Is such good place In UK... Lastly such a good and stable place where gives a lot of calmness and wonders. Thru all been manifested is good for young people get their time and methood for fine living.
We have just discovered your films! My wife and I have been going from Nottinghamshire to north and mid Wales since 1967, sadly I can’t do the drive anymore so thanks for some wonderful memories!!
@@peterhunt2723 Hi Peter, no third party camcorder operator, all done by me and my husband self taught as we use to do video weddings 40 years ago, the camcorder we use is a cheap one bought for my husband as a present by my daughter, since we are now getting popular on RU-vid we are now thinking of buying a better 4K camcorder, we concentrate on showing good scenery and steady shots, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
Thanks John, nice to get out and about again, waiting for good visibility weather now in North Wales to be walking the high mountains again, take care John from Epic Walks Wales.
I was on Y Garn 2 days ago (Nantle ridge Y Garn) and I must have looked at Mynydd Mawr without knowing that it is MM 😅 it was my other choice for hiking this day. Y Garn already had beautiful scenery. MM must have similar view. Is it easy /dangerous in parts? I turned around at the bottom of the rocky section on the Nantle ridge. Didn't want to exaggerate with my first real mountain hike after 2 years 😉
@@mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974 thank you, I was there yesterday. Stunning views. Enjoyed it so much. Would love to do the Moel Eilio ridge that's opposite Mynydd Mawr.
Lovely to see you both out enjoying the sunshine and making another great video. I just got home today from a few days in Buxton and it rained most of the time we were there. It was still lovely around the Peak District even in the rain. Cheers, Mike.
Thanks Mike, it is good to be back in the mountains again instead of watching boring TV, we found it hard as we are so unfit at the moment, it's good you got out and about in the Peak District despite poor weather, we are monitoring the weather up North Wales hoping for good visibility in the mountains, no signs of an early summer so far, take care Mike from Epic Walks Wales.
@@mandyanthonyepicwalkswales7974 I am also looking out for the weather to be better in Snowdonia for July but the lady at the hotel I booked said it is wet nearly every July and August now. Hope she is wrong this year.
We bumped into you on the way up! What a fab channel you have! Subscribed and definitely going to do some of the walks you’ve shown 💗 lovely meeting you xx
A Magnificent Vid, you got all the views Jeff, I did the same maybe over 25 years ago (sometime in the 90's?), what got me, is the paths, (there did not seem to be much back then?) but now the Paths all looked massive and totally worn out? must be very poplar? I seem to remember, not seeing anyone back then, but it almost looked like Piccadilly Circus? one thing though, your intro showed a "Dam/Resevoir" it was not the Neuadd Res, the dam is different and the background not the same at all, it was'nt the Torpantau or the Ponsticill either, no idea where its from.
Many thanks for your kind comments Bryn, much appreciated, the opening video shot is Talybont Reservoir just a few miles away from Neuadd Reservoir car park, we passed Talybont Reservoir on the way up via a North-West direction as we now live in Carmarthen, it avoided the ongoing road works holdup up the valleys, Ospreys have been feeding on the brown trout at the stunning Talybont Reservoir, however we did not have time to wait and catch that but what an opening shot that would have been, take care from Epic Walks Wales.
Many thanks Jamie, at last we have had a few days of good weather in South Wales, but weather still not good enough for North Wales walks to much low cloud and mist, poor start to the summer this year its now June and so cold and wet in south Wales we still have the central heating on, hope weather improves soon, take care Jamie from Epic Walks Wales.
Hi Mandy. I was up North Wales Fri-Sun. Got back yesterday. Camped up Cadair Idris next to the lake. It was a beautiful day and Saturday. Yesterday I went to Aber Falls. Beautiful👌 Putting a short up tomorrow then the video a few days later. We deserve a bit better Weather, terrible start to the year. Keep exploring and sharing👋
Well done Jamie, you were lucky to get good weather, Aber Falls is on our list, will look out for your video, the weather is not good for us out door guys this year, we normally would have 6 videos done by now but only 2 local ones this year so far, take care Jamie from Epic Walks Wales.
Hi Jeff, When you said "Hi RU-vid viewers" I thought you said "Hi you two viewers." I thought maybe you weren't too optimistic about your viewing figures at first.😁 Great video as usual. Lovely scenes, well done both. Call in when you are around Jeff, Cheers Buddy.
Hi Ken that's what I should have said as you maybe be the only viewer, we will call in when we are down your way next, hope everything is well with you and Beth, thanks for your kind words and see you soon.
