I've had two cruises on this lovely little ship (2003 and 2004) and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Only criticism I had was that when sailing there is no deck which offers a forward view of where the ship is heading, but that would not deter me from sailing on her again.
This ship hadn't been properly prepared for docking. Others have pointed out the incorrectly set fenders. There is also the small matter of not a single line having been taken ashore. Docking marks 7/10. (Can do better).
The guy below really doesn't know what he's talking about. While there are a lot more controls and functions there is still a lot of skill and experience involved. For one thing one might notice that almost all the forward fenders are all too high for the dock being used. As far as things go the Captain is obviously taking it slow and feeling the wind for a nice uneventful docking.
The wonderful world of modern Mega Yachts. Captain's have full control of maneuvers in any direction in the palm of their hand with a joystick. Not saying there is no skill involved but it is much easier than years ago. Soft touch the dock perfectly parallel. Love it.
thx for this video! Croatia is awesome for yachting! My uncle has a sunseeker manhatten 84 and he invited me a few years ago when I was 14. We had a great time there, we also went to rovinj, the most beautiful place in croatia. Greetz chris
