I have no idea what "The Magnus Archives" are nor do I care to. What I do care about is how well this animation gets the _feel_ of the song spot on. It fits. It fits well. I like the way it fits. Great job.
just finished season 4, holy moley this hurty. i love this song so much and it fits so weirdly perfectly? the feeling it gives me is almost the exact same as tma has given me so far. a weird spacey yearning. edit: i finished season 5 on the weekend (so like, 5 days? after this comment) HOLY FUCK. i really can't explain the effect it's had on me. like, intense nostalgia for something i don't know, the awe-and-fear feeling of realising the scale of the system/network/world you're in. yeah. ow.
This is just so charming and cute, usually the most infamous and important parts of Hermitcraft ever get animated, but it's nice to see a more casual moment and interaction getting some deserved love and respect as well. I love the flashback-like talk of Iskall as he explains his belt robbing story, Mumbo's documentary-like summary of this whole goofy and chaotic social experiment, Grian's sudden intervention to complete his ''infinity gauntlet'' and... Can't not mention poor Doc having a rough day camping out the button. That 1000 Yard Stare he has at the end *2:25* is hilarious.
I truely belive that after azi left crowley just drove around but always ended up back at the bookshop. He sat in azi old room looking at everything he could have. Crying his heart out he sat on his bed. The door was locked. Azi on the other hand. made it to heaven and looked around. he forgot one thing, his love. stuck with that stupid old man. He found his desk but his desk wasn’t next to crowleys. once he was left alone he would cry. Sometimes looking over earth looking at the bookshop seeing it. <3
