Homeopathic medicine remains the number one trusted and most used form of OTC remedy in the United Kingdom. This sketch is hilarious, and so well acted. I don't know how they kept a straight face through it. It highlights the fact that allopathic medicine for emergencies is essential. If you have chronic conditions, your local naturopath or DO is likely to be of more use, however.
It's criminal that chemists even sell this snake-water, let alone mix it with genuine remedies on the shelves. This kinda reminds me of when I had a pain specialist thinking she was cleverly distracting me from impossible to ignore post operative pain with talk, while the guy in charge of the drugs just kept telling me to press the button he damn well knew wasn't doing anything, but it's the thought that counts. :)
This video, while it's been around for awhile, is so spot on as to homeopathy. It's very clear that thanks to the internet and social media, snake oil medicine is at an all time high.

Women seem to buy into the nonsense more than men. I swear if I meet another girl who tells me about her crystals I may overdose on a glass of tap water with a drop of Calendula.
The homeopathy buzz has long since died down. A modern rendition would be a positivity clinic, promoting "good vibes" to heal cancer, and offering a comatose patient neuro-linguistic programming (yep, it's real!) to combat negativity. Once general inflammation is reduced using some honey, cumin and turmeric, the patient/corpse can then be diagnosed with any number of **neurodivergent** conditions.

I have a homeopathic remedy that I used for a sore throat, never 30 years. It has never failed me. I used one for arthritis on my dog. It worked wonders and he didn’t know what it was so it couldn’t have been The placebo effect.
