Hola, Stefan, como estas ? disculpa que te moleste. Me compre uno de igual esta semana y le quiero poner sonido, tu me puedes facilitar el archivo de sonido para loksound 5 ? gracias !! Hello, Stefan, how are you? I'm sorry to bother you. I bought one of the same this week and I want to put sound on it, can you provide me with the sound file for loksound 5? Thank you !!
@stefan8850

The sound project is from LeoSoundLab - you have to order it from them for around €25-30 with the serial number of your decoder and they email you the file coded to your decoder.

First it's the default taurus sound not Railjet sound cause railjet consist of wagons you can drive the wagons with either taurus 1,2,3 or a vectron second the break release sound is there cause its supposed to be there its there on the original even if you ever heard taurus 1016 and 1116 you should know that third no one can tell any difference cause you drive it too fast aka unrealistic
@stefan8850
@stefan8850 2 года назад
1) The project has 'RailJet' in the file name from Zimo, all that means is that it has some F-keys set to operate the Roco RailJet coaches' interior lighting and the driving trailer from the locomotive decoder via electrical couplings. There have been versions of the project which do not have this (such as the older project that was originally loaded). 2) I wasn't aware it was a brake release at the time, but the noise is still wrong. The Zimo project just has a generic brake release noise where as on the real thing it is a much shorter and higher pitched noise. Unfortunately the locomotive was too far away from the camera to hear it properly on the LeoSoundLab project, now that I have a rolling road and another Taurus with 16-bit sound a better comparison video will follow at some point. 3) Acceleration isn't remotely too fast, I suggest you look up some videos yourself. A lone locomotive can accelerate much quicker, see here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vxOUdp903UE.html 4) You come across as unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Its model railways, not a political debate on Fox News.

@@stefan8850 actually I don't care if its really realistic I will be interested to hear a difference between 8 and 16 bit sound decoder ( actually there are no real difference between the two if you know what your doing ) if you want really loud and clear speaker look for one from Asus Fonepad 7 (2014) by the way the translation from Bulgarian to English is the reason I sound rude actually I'm not.. I love your work so that's the reason I comment on it

There is not much difference between the 8-bit LeoSoundLab project and the 16-bit Zimo project, the Leo is better from start and slower speeds where as the Zimo sounds better at higher speeds. The Zimo unfortunately still uses a generic brake squeal rather than the correct noise which the Leo project has, that is the only thing wrong with it but it is such a distinctive noise on the real locomotive. Unfortunately I used twin 15x11mm speakers in the factory speaker enclosures on the two locomotives which sound ok, if I were to do it again I would see if I could get twin 18x13mm speakers to fit like in the Brawa 2048 (ex DB V100) and Roco 2043 I recently did. For an 8-bit vs. 16-bit comparison you can look at my ÖBB 1046 video where I have a Roco factory 8-bit (Zimo) sound with twin 15x11mm speakers vs. a Rivarossi with 8-bit Zimo sound and twin iPhone speakers vs. a Rivarossi with 16-bit Zimo sound and twin iPhone speakers. The 16-bit sound has more background noises, and is able to do 2 stage fans (high speed fan at higher locomotive speed) where as the 8-bit only has enough memory for single fan speed. A better comparison for 8-bit vs. 16-bit will be with the 2 Roco 2043 diesels that I have recently done - both with the latest Zimo projects that are quite good, one MX645 with twin iPhone speakers the other with MS450 and twin 18x13mm speakers in a large enclosure. I have one more that will get an MX645 and 18x13mm speakers which will be a better comparison to the 16-bit one.

@stefan8850
@stefan8850 2 года назад
No, scrapped the car unfortunately. Didn't have the space or time to fix, would have required the engine out and either replace the crank bearings or replace the entire bottom end or entire engine. Car would have needed the sills sorting within a few years too. Instead I replaced it with an X350 XJ8 Sport.
