I remember exactly when they found John F Kennedy jr & his wife & sister in law. I was walking on the beach in front of our house on north Hutchinson island Florida . As I was walking, I saw a dolphin jumping & two dolphins behind the first one, jumping with joy. At the moment I had this struck thought , that they had found them. I went in the house & turned on the news & heard the announcement. It was very sobering. I knew his Uncle Joseph died in a plane crash in the line of duty in ww2. His Aunt Kick also died in a crash. His Mother didn’t want him flying , and he didn’t pursue that passion until after she passed. Then he perished. It’s so sad the horrible things that family went thru. I remember when Jack & then Bobby were both assassinated, and that horrific surgery poor Rosemary went thru. They all, especially Caroline, really deserve some peace .
1:10:47 - I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! As soon as they said the plane had been sitting for weeks I literally yelled out loud “PITOT TUBES!!” My guess: Captain’s speed indicator connects to a blocked pitot tube. Maintenance probably left tape on them (I saw another episode where that happens). Autopilot must connect to it too and doesn’t know it’s wrong so it thinks the plane is going too fast & points the nose up to slow the speed. Which actually slows the correct speed that is showing on the FO’s indicator and that triggers the stall warning. Then the Captain - panicking and I guess forgetting that his indicator was the one not working on takeoff, decides both indicators are wrong now for some reason, then takes control and slows the plane even more, which stalls it and crashes the plane. The Captain freaked out & crashed the plane bc of careless maintenance. That’s my guess. The NTSB should hire me if I’m right! ETA: okay not tape but I was close! (also, that was just my guess after having watched so many of these. But it was all things that Captain, as a Captain flying a plane, should have known. Also, maintenance knows about bees and knew the pitot tubes weren’t covered and did nothing?)
I wonder if he would have said! No matter what the plane does not leave the ground. No matter how high the cost is. Would he! Of said that. " If his life was on the line?
Total BS. The INS was newer than the ADF by 50 years. The ADD is old tec. . You don’t follow the Morris code, you look at the needle pointing to figure out the course. What a horrible presentation.
Dear Mr. President Putin....This is a guest of the tiny Island of England that you could sink. Please could you send us a good 3 or 4 feet of snow around Christmas time here, please. Thanks ❤😂
I was there. I lived it. I met James. I lived in Ohatchee, AL. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPACT OF THIS VIDEO. I cuddled my toddlers in a bathtub with a comforter to protect us, all the while thinking at a moment's notice they could have been ripped from my arms. I just watched this today and I spoke with James....I'm sorry. not ur fault James
Horrific act of terror, and may all victims rest in peace. When I heard of the crash and noticed 'Clipper Maid of the Seas" in the debris, the cause wasn't known yet. 3 months earlier, my return flight LAX to London was delayed b/c of repairs. The whole night I sat in the lounge and watched the PanAm plane in the spotlights. Her name: "Clipper Maid of the Seas". Early morning, we took off, and over the Atlantic, I walk the aisle In the back I noticed how much the plane flexed! I knew flexing is necessary, but this almost seemed excessive. When I heard the news, in a split-second my thoughts went back to this experience. The brave Maid could handle it all, but not a devlish deed.
It's 747SP. Double hinged tail section, is it's design. I think, it's the reason, any structural failure not happened in this incident. If it's usual 747, something happened catastrophically like Japan Airlines Flight 123.
What about the airline that fired the first officer, and then lied regarding the circumstances of his firing and his abilities as a pilot? Were they ever held responsible in any way?
The first thing the controller should have said before they had any conversation was ! Hypoxia ! Hypoxia! Check your cabin pressure control emergency decent authorized
As much as I admire the Campbells’ tenacity, I feel upset that they went and basically stole all those documents from the NTSB hearing. Those are the official investigators, you can’t just take their evidence. How do you know they even had copies? That’s the one thing that really upsets me about their actions.
@@South-Wales-RPC This is narrated by Richard Wilson, who played Victor Meldrew in the series "One Foot in the Grave" whos tagline was "I don't believe it!"
