Hi Harshit, Yes. There's a very unique story actually regarding the Fortune Hotel. We did include it on our list, but then we had to remove it. Infact if you go through the video, you would probably notice that there is 9 Hotels instead of 10.
We really like the Fortune Hotel in Ekta Nagar, it is centrally located, very easy to find public transport, easy to find the hotel as well, Located on the main road, Managed by the Fortune Group of hotels which is pretty known for high quality hotels. BUT UNFORTUNATELY Despite the number of positive points that we felt the Fortune Hotel in Ekta Nagar was a great hotel the Attitude of the General Manager really made us change our opinion in just a matter of seconds.
So the Story goes that the General Manager called us, BEFORE even seeing the video, SHOUTED and spoke very rudely to us. He DEMANDED that the Fortune Hotel shouldn't be listed. Which was weird, because 1. He knew we are Adira Travels and we promote various hotels in various cities. We are not even paid by him but He was very rude and spoke harshly to us. In our years of travelling around various cities, countries and staying in various hotels at various budgets. We have never encountered anyone who behave in such rude manner. He spoke as though we were slaves that were owned by him, spoke in a loud demanding tone, and started screaming on the phone. Well I couldn't imagine how the staff must be going through and what sort of customer service you can expect if the General Manager himself was soo full of himself. If he could be speaking harsh to us, I can't imagine the problems that others would face. Because He knew we are Adira Travels and our intentions was to help our viewers in deciding for a place to stay when they are visiting Ekta Nagar. Despite knowing that what we say could and would influencer others, I felt the way he spoke was not at all profesional and not at place.
2. We tried to explain it to him nicely stating that by having his hotel listed will only help the hotel's sales (of course it would help customers as well in finding a good accomodation). Our explanation was simple, it would increase the number of eyeballs towards the hotel and probably some of the people who would be interested would book the hotel and directly or indirectly increase the sales of the hotel. He was screaming and just saying that he is the General Manager of the property and He don't need sales. I was laughing silently inside, thinking to myself, what an arrogant person. It's a good property but if managed by the wrong person. Even the best of location can struggle to operate and be profitable to their shareholders.
Yeah so We didn't want to waste our time arguing. After He shouted and hung up the phone on us. We felt humiliated and insulted. Spent a few seconds to calm ourself down, then realized. Hey wait a minute, if this is the way how the General Manager behaves. Wait a minute, I don't think it is actually safe and comfortable if we send our viewers there as well. So it's probably better that you avoid the Fortune Hotel in Ekta Nagar no matter how enticing it looks like. They just went through their third major renovation and management as well ownership change in the past couple of years. So something is definitely fishy about it. But yeah, Fortune Hotel is general is a very good hotel chain, and the attitude of one "weird" general manager didn't change my perception regarding the Fortune Brand. In fact i spoke to a number of other staff in Ekta Nagar and they were very corporative and decent, they just appeared to be very scared of their Super Boss 😅

You’re videos are very useful and better than the hundreds of influencers who hype a place so much that the prices you mention are non existent and almost double these days or may be close now in monsoon off season.
Hi Brother. Hope all is doing great. December is Peak Season Brother. I would strongly suggest that you book and pay them in advance if your trip is confirmed. If you book and pay on the spot also I wouldn't recommend. 1. Hotel might sell your rooms to someone else who is willing to pay directly. 2. Hotel prices would increase drastically if you are coming without booking. 3. You might run out of good hotels at a decent price during December. If you are traveling alone / with just a group of friends then that is fine. But if you are with family. 100% not recommended. Better be safe.

Aaronica resort, varkala beach is a good resort just 75 metres from the cliff. You get double ac rooms for rs 2000. Very silent atmosphere and good ambiance and have parking facility too
