The jet boil dual burner is just out of limits price wise. I have been using a fold-n-go for a couple of years. It does the job, but would echo the previous comments of a lack of a decent simmer. It runs at half or full. I recently picked up the BSR-32 to test but have not had enough experience to comment on my opinion yet, but hopeful.
Can't throw them in trash? Never heard of that and always throw em in trash usually bout 6-10 at a time. And I'ma keep doin it. I only refill em a time or 2 as they are thin and aren't designed to safely refill. If I figure out how to cut into them without blowing myself up I'd be making camp heater/stoves to sell.
I've never known anyone to do anything with them beside throw them in the trash or use them for target practice. But I could see where this tool (appears to be well made) could be useful.
You need to put grip tape on ramp and carrier slats, and REALLY should have something like a wood block/2x4 or jack bracing under the carrier where you are rolling bike up ramp. Otherwise, you are putting full weight stress on carrier on that loading end....
In the old days we had these things called SKILLETS. They were black. They were also a "solar cooking technology" in 110 degrees....also FAR CHEAPER. We had "kickstands" too. We called them "ROCKS", which elevated our ancient technological "skillet". We had advanced technological silver sheets too...very complex...we called them, "tin foil". Its great that you have reinvented our ancient technological devices....hint: we had this thing called, "a wheel"....you might wanna reverse engineer this next in a video.
@zarathustraowens771 you just revealed the plot of my black friday video. I plan to carve it on the side of a cave instead of recording it with my gopro.
You know, cooking for fairly large (60-80) groups offsite, most often smoking, a whole day affair, I need genius way to actually cook for 6-8 friends when camping. Thanks, I'll check this out. Shit, at $139 I'll just go get one and let you know!
Damnit I JUST bought a system of tight fitting totes for truck bed and my current stove/tote fits like a glove. This ones too big.. it's a never ending cycle of changing out upgrading and swapping lol. Thanks for the review man
Living in coastal Louisiana I tend to take off on my boat for a day or two at a time to fish and get away, overnight I'll usually anchor right off the beach or in the marsh to set my tent on high ground. How to you realistically feel this stove would hold up to the pounding of being in a boat then being used in a salt water environment? Great content for a newer channel.
