The only thing I want to say that's like a constructive criticism. I love how people always think 'they know' why this or that relationship worked out, the truth is intimacy, love, and finding the 'one', is so beyond any 'mathematics of relationships'. The truth is who we find to be the one often is about healing the hurt we have had in the past, about what we have always wanted, but never felt like we would ever have it, it's about timing, about chemical hormones that make one person attracted to another and see them in a way that no one else sees that person. It's about a million little quirks that we aquire over our lifetime, that either fits, or doesn't fit with another person. And it's about becoming so intimate with someone we can't sometimes know where we stop and they begin.... and then it's about do you change in a way that you can make it through years and years of constantly, and slowly becoming a different person, and then in some way returning to the people we have always been. And it's about nothing i said above, and whatever weird, and wonderful think in you, that makes you think that makes it works with another person, that fits their werid and wonderful, that shares that feeling right back, and it comes in so many flavours, as there are people on earth. So to me, this is a very different boyfriend from Taylor's past boyfriends, but I think she is actually looking for stability, to return a bit of that girl who grew up loving country, and pickups, and football. I don't know it it will last, cause both will change, and if they happen to grow and change in ways that they can still make it work, and they actually say have kids, both as a celebration of finding that 'one' you want to make little copies of them and you, and also, ends up being the reason many relationships figure out how to make it through the rough times in a relationship, and decide to make it work because you 'decide to' like grown ups, and not just chasing the newest shinniest, makes me feel the best thing. But instead starts to be about some pretty amazing little balls of lights that become your focus instead. To me though, it is so laughable people who 'have it all figured out', and why this will or won't work, or how they know it will, etc. They don't know if it will work out 7 years from, now, 20 years from now, and no one on the planet does. But because i see her returning to that little country singing girl who grew up on a christmas tree farm, in a small town in America, i think if he decides to make it work, Taylor will find enough 'home' in him to make it work as well. You can see how much she gets into the football, I think this one definitely has a great chance. But I honestly thought her and Joe was going to last much longer then it did. I thought they might have had kids as well, but I think in the end Joe was still too young. And in comparison Travis is very much the opposite, he seems definitely like he is absolutely into having a few kids with Taylor, and that likely will keep them together, as they seems like they will put their kids ahead of themselves if that happens, and that, yea, does help keep people together when relationships are no longer easy, etc... But, I also get why people are so into Taylor's love life. Because she has shared her feelings so well in her music that millions upon millions of girls have felt like finaly someone was talking about their lives, and sharing intimate experiences they went through, that mirrors what Taylor has shared as she has grown up basically on the stage, for America, and the world as well really. So of course all those people who shared that closeness with Tayloy's music are gonna want to root for her to finally 'find the one' cause they are in a way rooting for themselves as well, as they see themselves in taylor, etc. And not just girls, but guys, both gay, but also regular guys who hear truth about what women feel like going through all these same experiences, etc.. Her genius has been that, and so, yea, not surprising so many people are weighing in, but it also still makes me laugh, cause the truth is so so much more complicated then anything you can sum up in a you tube comment, even one as ridiculously long as this one...
