Mid 2000s era was when adult swim was getting its grove and it wasn't too unhinged with the bumps. As cool and creepy the new bumps are. I miss this calm relaxing chill vibe adult swim used to have with these bumps.

I was born in 99, so around this time I was ages 6-8, there was nothing better than staying up late or waking up in the middle of the night & these come on, they were even better around Christmas time. Times aren’t what they used to be.
I remember when I would fly on jet blue from Virginia to California and staying up all night because I was 8 years old and just watching all these bumpers and being freaked out but also loving the vibe

I´m not from US but I feel some nostalgia by something that I´ve never experiencied. It´s incredible how TV could create atmosphere in the past, something that streamers can´t get nowadays.
Kinda hard to even watch. The nostalgia hit is just too damn hard. I remember being a kid with no one else awake in the world, watching this in the middle of the night. Waking up late during summer vacation with 0 care or responsibility. Makes me emotional.
I remember watching this late at night around 12am at my baby sitters house when i was a little kid. I never understood the bumps, but i always thought it was really chill. This was back in 2003 for me. But i was happy that innuyasha and family guy and aquateen hunger force where on. At the time those shows were at their prime and adult cartoons were still a taboo thing sort of. At least thats what i remember.
@ :40 I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED THIS. When I saw this as an 18 year old, who just graduated from highschool that year, it was a reminder that I was now grown up. It was time to controbute to society, work, grow, and mack chicks. Now in 2024, I have done most of that or the woke era has killed being able to do it/killed my drive to do it. Now I work and focus on myself. How times have changed!!!
