Ugly Stick dock runner medium power likes it 36" long with a ABU Garcia Max Z size 10 reel is just fun to use got a 14" brown trout in a small stream in the mountains. Is for kids and adults to use. Try one for short distances or ice fishing 🎣.
For the price the UGLY stick GX2 rod 7' medium heavy with a UGLY tuff in size 40 reel. My favorite to use on tiger musky fishing 🎣 strong for live baits and spinners.
If you want the best centre pin reel, JW Young’s (England). They are built to last longer than you live, and still made today, not mass produced. The price is very reasonable across their entire range.
Good I have plussino rod but I going to get a Fuji one well I say hello from London hopefully I going to fishing in Colombia valle del cauca and maybe Amazon river thanks 😅
I was looking for a lip gripper but there was so many to choose from until i saw your review for the Rapala and bought it straight away .....thanks for the advice.
I've been a Custom Fishing Rod builder since 1976 and Fishing guide since until recently!! Chinese companies may make some decent Reels, but where the hell would they Test their Salmon and Steelhead Rods at?!. As large as China is they have no runs of Salmon or Steelhead!! It doesn't have darn thing in it for me, but save and buy U. S. made rods like Lamiglas (made in Woodland Washington), they have Extremely few rods made overseas!! And upfront you can ask which models are made right here in Washington State. Their rods will last you a life time, as long as you buy or make a PVC tube for them, and don't shut a trunk lid on them. People of China and Taiwan sometimes do a good Job of taking American or Swedish Patents, and copy them. Japanese Shimano reels are Great, but in Order to compete with Chinese, even with Shimano Reels, you must ask if they were really made in Japan?! Real Japanese Shimano ain't cheap, but Again when you get a Real Japanese one, they also truly last a lifetime. But just keep them in a clean thick sock😊
Best Steelhead Rods for Salmon Fishing??!! That's lifke saying "The Best Roller Skates for Ice Skating 😂 Dear God, you don't even know the Pronunciation of "Celilo" as in the Celilo Falls that native Americans used to dip- net Salmon at. And you expect people to believe what you say?!
I believe Power Pro was one of the first braids to come onto the market , so where do you get off saying that it’s trash , also Spider Wire was another one. I’ve used it for over thirty years and never had a problem with it, and all I fish around is pilings and bridges , caught plenty of Tog and Stripers using it .
I broke my Okuma Celilo on the first fish when I set the hook, I was shocked how easy it broke I am 52 and have been fishing most of my life. Back to my Ugly Stick Elite 10-20 medium heavy.
Trying to take a lifetime kayak in the ocean is a terrible idea, they barely handle chop in small lakes. Do not attempt to take the tamarack or really any other lifetime models in the ocean. It will not go well. There are a few lifetime models that might do ok on a pretty day with no bad chop but even still not worth it and considering the lifetime models im referring to run upwards of 600$, there are actual ocean kayaks that can be had for 800-1000$ so the best thing to do is to save up and buy something made to do this. If you do not know what models to look into or just dont know where to start, go on google and look up the closet kayak rental shop or service shop to you and see what they recommend for your intended use. Do not and i repeat do not use a walmart kayak to fish in the ocean
@@filipetai2751 Have not tried it .. Ive been sticking to Spider wire. it has just enough stiffness and wont get wind knots and I have never had a Break off with it , ever..
i do agree with Ugly stik gx2. i am buying the 7 ft rod because of the cheap price compare to other 7ft rod. and i heard this rod is really good. good rod to update to
Yeah, nah, I’ve got a Saragossa 10000 from Shimano for stickbaits and Spheros for surfcasting. The Thunnus series from Shimano is better built than the Baitrunner, if you’re after a baitrunner! These and Daiwa are sealed for salt water use
