You guys were sold out of the paneled acorn, I got lucky and found one at Boswell’s. My fault for not looking earlier. I bought a bunch of other stuff tho that you had in stock 😊
You and other tobacconists need to release these things with an earlier ads so people like me on social security can get at least one, 2ndly you and other tobacconists need to limit or allocate just like bourbon to 2 a day, this gives others a chance at least of getting one, what a scam .
This is a great Halloween tobacco. I get candy corn, carmel apple from this. I lit up some in a cob pipe to watch. I'm smoking some from first run. Have a good one fellas.
@@Smokingpipes gotcha , didn’t think bout those crazy laws on free speech and suppression of free will and our pursuit of happiness. Thanx for responding.
I've been a fan from the get go. I was fortunate to shop at Skallywag Cigar at the time and got a heads up from Scott. Very fortunate and I'm a huge fan still. I've still got some of my original release bundle 'm hoarding. We unfortunately have no cigar shops in the area, Chicago is a couple of hours away, so we dont' get to try the limited event stuff, but I've managed to get my hands on many of the others. Call to Arms, Oath Takers, Phantom Queen, and the original Argos release. I absolutely love their work. Yorktown fleet is a great smoke. Keep up the good work Lee. Hope to get to an event one day.
Hey fellas, I’m just getting into the hobby and i’m trying to figure out what tobacco to smoke during the break-in period of a new briar pipe. Based on this review this sounds like a blend that I would enjoy smoking. Is it acceptable for breaking a pipe? I smoked cigars, so I know tobacco just not pipe smoking and pipe tobacco. 7:58 Thanks
Absolutely a good choice. Since it's a straight Virginia it will not impart any unnatural flavors in the pipe. Burley is also a good choice for breaking in a new pipe. Welcome to the hobby, let us know how we can help!

I see those long gone tins of the Frog on the shelf. Still have a couple of each and an two open tins of Frog Mortan Cellar and Blue Balkan. Enjoy boys!
I keep all sizes in my humidor. I like a quicker rubosto on my pre-night shift routines. A good hour to smoke and relax before work, usually playing chess or reading. But I want a nice Churchill or Gordo on my sunny off days. Taking 2 hours or more. I like these with good company or a movie

In 2017 I bought a BriarWorks Rhodesian. It's a slightly tall and thin bowl by Pete's standards - almost like a French pipe as you mentioned in the video about the C13 (which I may have to buy someday). A gently sandblasted Classic Brown finish, a tasteful yellow accent band, and a very well-made black acrylic stem make up this awesome pipe. It's drilled perfectly. You'd expect to pay about $500 for a similar pipe from other makers. It smokes perfectly, and I've taken it everywhere with me. Thanks for the years of good smokes Pete!
@@Smokingpipes I've bought _a lot_ of pipes from you guys and you're always on your mark. Several years ago, I ordered a Ropp Vintage pipe right before Christmas, but the stem sadly had a crack in it. Your salesman let me keep it and sent me a nicer pipe - and expedited the shipping - for no extra charge. Your customer service is nothing short of excellent.
I remember when Jeremy first brought some in to try out. I happened to be visiting (around 2016, if I recall?) And was pleasantly surprised, and excited for the blend. Looking forward to scoring some of this year's batch.
@Smokingpipes just finished bowl number two. Ridiculously smooth, delightfully piquant back note, and overall a win. My palette isn't as well defined as it once was, so I'm not detecting the sweetness the way Shane does, but it's noticed in other ways. Jeremy absolutely nailed this. The only criticism I have is that it becomes slightly acrid on re-light in the bottom 3rd. Or maybe that's just me. I'll most certainly be getting more!
