Chris Django started to play the cello at 4 years old. His roots are Gypsy music. Gypsies play by ear and like to improvise and that is where Chris Django learned to improvise. During his last year of Gymnasium, Chris Django did 1 year of jazz piano conservatory. He also played bass in gypsy jazz ensembles. During his PhD in quantum physics, Chris Django got a burnout.
During this period of burnout he meditated for hours a day, because that was the only thing his body allowed him to do for a couple of years. He had troubles hearing and seeing, and could not endure music or sounds, due to over stimulation.
He then made a new start with music. He now plays from a place of wholeness instead of performing and takes the audience on a journey inward. He ordered the construction of a new instrument, which is more suitable for this purpose of flow and improvisation. A cello with 5 strings tuned in fourths like the bass guitar with an extra-C string.

It is very easy to offer an opinion as to who is better than who on the violin, but my question is simple : Why do we ask people who are NOT violinists to express an opinion, when the ONLY people qualified to answer the question are professional violinists.
