I used it and my enemy didn't stand a chance. He was sent to the hospital. I spent 4 days in jail. And my enemy didn't get any hits on me. It's violence
This is the pitbull of martial arts why because it's all violence and fighting mixed into one. It's not fighting by far far from it. It's all about in flickting a hell of a lot of violence on your enemies. Not fighting like I said. It's violence at its finest. 😊
Mr.Roy, Chapeau ! I do bend in front of your Style, KRAV MAGA, is the best, for SURVIVING ! What realy means in Englisch, Krav Maga ? Have a Happy Day !
For your first gi, there are two strategies for most of us. Either you buy the one your gym recommends (costly), or you try to figure out what your size is and buy accordingly. Unfortunately, if your build is outside the norm, loads of people won't know enough to guide you, and your gym may not have your size. I'm 6'4" and recently re-crossed the 300# limit (going down this time). I wear a size A-6. Many companies don't make this size. Some don't even make A-5. My first gi purchase was an Elite A-5. The pants were so tight I could barely get into them, and I definitely couldn't move in them; I had to wear sweatpants instead for the first few weeks. The top fit...but not well. Arms were JUST loose enough to use, and the thing never went over the chest right. The belt from it fits OK, a little loose on me now :) I gave away the pants to one guy and after a few months, the jacket to another. Hoping to change the belt for a different colored one in a few months; maybe an A-4 size (I wear size 42 pants again; it's been just over 10 years since I could do that - pull the tape measure tight enough it's almost 40, so that's progress even if I'm still just a little bit over 290#). After rolling with a black belt, I got a black Fuji A-6. I figured it wouldn't show the blood so much. It's been about a year, and I still have it. Fuji seems to think that everyone wearing that size has an enormous gut and spindly little legs, but at least the chest and shoulders are big enough. I've lost enough weight that I can wear the pants without going commando, but it's still not the greatest fit. Luckily, there are companies that sell gi pants and some of them are a bit more baggy. Performance Fight Gear is the one I have bought those from and also shin guards and other things; everything from them seems simple but very solid, which I appreciate. I've got 6 gis now but I'm reluctant to try any major manufacturer anymore. The Fuji is getting a bit worn; I got one unbranded gi that was advertised as an A-7 but the armholes are tight (it's a problem I have a fair bit with other clothing) and the pants were flimsy and have ripped. Four gis are by Jaguar Pro Gear - they're the most comfortable ones I've ever worn so far...no idea how durable they are going to be in the long run though (which is one reason I have 4 hehe). Everyone loves Shoyoroll but they don't make anything in my size. Everyone loves Origin but I'm a little concerned about the fit of the pants, and $250 is a fair investment. Anyways, it's a little easier to find stuff now than last year, but still not the easiest of tasks.
Where can I see footage of KM in action that is not a drill or demo? Everything I've seen so far is either a drill, a demo, or hot garbage. Please point me to something that doesn't look like children flailing.
You know I do Krav and our sparring is quite similar to MMA/Kickboxing sparring. My instructor said something very weird about there being certain rules about what you can teach/post in Krav organizations (not ours).
I am 5, 8 215lbs 15% bf.. never find anything that fits . Arms are short but shoulders are big .. long torso short legs... took me a freaking A4 to fit shoulds .. about 4 inches too long on pants, and sleeves almost cover knuckles
I wish he wouldn't use the word Sensei ,considering this is an Israeli system and not Japanese. I also wish they didn't use the colour belt system, also Japanese. Be proud of it being Israeli.
I have interacted with Roy a few times on Instagram. He is a very good guy, polite, & friendly. The dude is a bad ass in real life as we can tell for his size. And I bet he's just as bad ass in shooting, firearms, & doing firearm drills.
I always liked the light to med type ...especially for those hot days/ nights. Never worried about being warm in winter months cuz after a few warm-ups you will be fine. You can always use a rashguard/ compression shirt under.😁
