We have decided to sail the world. Yep, like many others. We sold up, rehoused the cats (that was such a wrench, we loved those cats) and moved onto a boat! We are now sailing around the globe, filming our adventures and making some sweet videos. We hope you like what we do!
Why is the main helm on the port side when you must give way to boats on your starboard? This is a leftover habit that eases docking on the port side when prop drag was an issue.
Deep Blue Seas - Have you ever thought to just video the beautiful landscape or Oceans as you journey from pot to ppprt and NOT do any talking? Just let your viewers enjoy the view. I would re-watch such a beautiful video hundreds of times! It would be GREAT if you included the sounds of the waves and birds as you sailed along, in that same video. I think more sailing travelers should make such videos, it is what is missing on RU-vid.
Right of inocent passage - you have the right to transit through a country's waters providing you make continuous passage towards your destination (don't anchor or land) so you can legally pass through Greek Waters.
So many beautiful places in the world to visit. It seem as if the current location is one of the best. I can not visit them all but via RU-vid I can see many of them. Keep up the good work.
Video are becoming boring. They're all the same things: ooh look at this pretty water, look at this stunning landscape, the anchor alarm goes off and difficult anchorages. I can't believe I'm writing this, but I miss Nick talking about stainless steel or the quality of the cabinets. Do the two of you ever get off the boat?
SCREECHER. 50% of the worlds population are SCREECHERS, I think they should be ALLOWED to have a bit of a say. What a great great word. I think SCREECHER should be the new woke word to describe females. Naming ALL of THEM this descriptive word would alleviate ANY confusion going FORWARD. I just called my wife SCREECHER and it's it's been very quiet and peacefull since. What are your thoughts, If you are ALLOWED to comment NIC? 😮😮😮😮
I personally used 10:1 scope every time if I could. Plus I had 4 anchors and a spare and I used often 2 or 3 anchors at the time, so luckily I never had a scary moment like this even though in some of the islands we stayed a shore for days at the time.
Your fuel mystery,.. I may be on a complete wrong track...could it be that your power steering is run from only one of the engines putting extra load to that one side?.. same symptom haappened to me on a cruiser boat
Yeah sadly since, you can't play real music on videos. The med is astonishing truely and some kind of cosy. A cruisers dream basically. Love these videos.
Thanks for sharing this, great episode! The Mediterranean is a fantastic place to sail, with its rich cultural backdrop and diversity. However, during the summer, it can get quite crowded, often putting your anchoring skills-and patience-to the test, especially when boats end up anchored closely to one another.
The colour of the Med is an awesome blue on my iPad! Is that really like it is? Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. You answered my blue question…
Cos is the first island I visited with my family when I was 12. They live in Thessaloniki, and then we all went to Cos. Such fond memories were made I try to go back every other year - now with my family.
