I fear God in my heart because I didn’t live a perfect life. I also Love him wholeheartedly. I’m not deserving but have repented for my sins and shortcomings and desire a true relationship with him.
To fear the Lord is such a wonderful place to be, oh that every person would fear HIM. HE knows you, HE knows who you are and he takes care of HIS own, like a shepherd and sheep
Derek Prince was without any question a great gift to God's people! He carried an anointing for teaching that few others could equal. There's actually a supposed pastor somwhere in the Philly area who is telling his people that Derek was a false teacher, not even born again and is now in Hell! How sad!
This teaching is a lie from the pit of hell. Where is the joy? Where is the excitement of the adventure with our loving Father? No wonder Christianity is the laughingstock of the world. It’s the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. And that means fearing him. Which is just an old King James term which meant: reverence or respect. I’m not afraid of my Heavenly Father. He holds my hand and walks and talks with me! He’s my friend.
They were rejected because thery were not His Chidren as Christ died for His elect. If we are gifted our saving faith, we must be gifted "the fear of the Lord." You make the Christian life , determined by our decisions, But this PATH OF THE LORD, was laid by Christ alone, this is how is possible , to follow the path. I fear the Lord in this way- That when the day comes, all my hope is in the promise of the Gospel. "FEARFUL HOPE"
If sin is missing the mark, fear of the Lord is coming just short of his approval, formally. Formally is not something anyone can aim for, rather it is quietly, personally, intimately. The relationship is therefore only possible in that context, that is to say, you should be so honoured to have that relationship at such an intimate level. Anything else is doctrine, legalism and dogma. Fear is an outdated word that serves to reinforce hierarchical aims in truth as well as its potential for the same thing, 'in house'. Anything that could serve the purposes of the offering plate must be made approachable. If not, get out. You're in a cult!
God did marvelous things for me when I was a prodigal daughter. I cried out to him during one period of that time, and He answered me & took care of me... I am not sure I was fearing the Lord at those times. I am struggling with "conditions"... maybe I am misunderstanding this teaching.
Here is a thought when the Holy Spirit sealed me, the fear of the Lord was so strong. I gathered my baby up out of her crib, wrapped her in a blanket and had my hand on the door knob getting ready to run out into the icy, pouring rain to get in my car and run and then I remembered God would never let anything happen to me when I was praying to him but I didn’t know until later. It was the seal the Holy Spirit .
I've learned that the fear of the Lord is fearing to be apart from Him. Fearing that sin can cause Him to remove Himself from my life for the enemy to devour me. Fear not having a relationship with Christ.

I fear God as much as I love Jesus. After my last breath I will be kneeling in front of God's throne, with Jesus at the right hand throne. They will decide if my eternal life will be in Heaven or Hell. I pray that my sins were washed away by the blood of Jesus. Praise his name ✝️
