We are Bill and DeAnna who travel in our 28-foot Airstream Safari. That's why we call ourselves "Living the Silver Life." However, we both have silvering hair so that might work too. We travel full-time around the United States and Canada looking for adventure. We would love to have you join our Silver Life family by subscribing to our channel and traveling along with us. Who knows, we might inspire you to GET UP & GET OUT, and have some adventures yourself.
Like 94, Awesome footage capturing the beautiful alluring scenery that entice some of the viewers to keep on watching your channel, thanks for sharing and bringing us to this wonderful relaxing place and stay safe always.
Such great flying on a beautiful day. The drone views provide such a unique perspective. Lovely views of the autumn foliage. Love all the colors. Wonderful waterfalls, rock formations and lake. Thank you so much for sharing your video with us. Have a great weekend.🙂🙂
Do the Hullavators create much wind noise? Thanks for posting this video…trying to make up my mind whether or not they would help me much. I note that it still took two people to lift the kayak up to shoulder height so it would fit in the‘cradle’.
Sorry, we just saw this. No, we don’t notice a wind noise with it. We are usually pulling an Airstream as well, but not always. Bill can do it himself, but it’s harder. A tennis ball was suggested for someone trying to do it themselves. It will hold one open while you work the other.
I own a home in Blackwell. What a great little village. Go, enjoy. Go to Millers store and get some ice cream. Take your kids and let them enjoy wild PA. Trout fishing in the spring is awesome. 👏
Where are you guys from? I actually live on waneta lake, which is about 10 minutes from hammondsport, live music every Thursday evening in the park during the summer
We love Hammondsport. I’m from Texas. Thats where we raised our kiddos, but Bill is from New York. Gang Mills/Presho area near Corning. We built a cabin in Addison and spend summers here. We have been to y’all’s summer music. Love it.
I’m sorry we can’t remember. It’s been a while since we’ve been. There are about 10 different campgrounds in Custer and each one is a little different from the next. Wish we could remember. 😂
Thank you for sharing the video! We're planning a similar setup and this reassures us that we're on the right track. I have a question: with the Hullavators mounted on the shell, which pushes the kayaks further back, are there any concerns about the clearance between the stern of the kayaks and your Airstream? Additionally, how much overhang is there between the back of the shell and the kayak?
No, it’s never been a problem. We even recently went to a 14’ kayak and still had plenty of clearance. Not sure what the overhang is cause we don’t have anything mounted right now. Of course it would depend on the length of your kayaks too. Great questions. Thanks. Hope you enjoy the Hullevator system as much as we have once you get it.
Very nice memories to decorate your cabin with. It was great to see some of the pictures you have taken over time. They are all so beautiful. Have a great weekend.🙂🙂
Thank you for taking us with you on that lovely hike. Such beautiful natural landscapes and nice weather. Also, nice restaurant and well decorated town. Enjoy the weekend.👍
In late November of last year, I made my first ever attempt at thru hiking the whole thing. I did a bunch of preparation and practice trips. I almost threw in the towel at Queen Wilhelmina, but I stuck it out until Hwy 27, just past the halfway point. My body had taken a beating and I needed a break to recover. I returned in February and hiked Hwy 27 to Hwy 7, then a few weeks later, Hwy 7 to Pinnacle. I've hiked the whole trail in three big sections, but I'm contemplating the possibility of having another go at a complete thru hike. I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
I would absolutely love to have one of these for myself! They really are such incredible things that hold such dreams of adventures! I love the streamlined shape too, it makes it feel so modern! - Travelling Welshman here!
I always love seeing peopl pass by in cars which have been completely modified for a day of activities! hahah! i always feel so happy for the people going out for a day of adventure! Travelling Welshman here!
So many great shots of Alaska, it just looks stunning. It looked like a wonderful experience. I'm very jealous as this is somewhere I want to visit, but at the moment I can't convince my husband to take the flight! I need to work harder lol.
So many great cars. I love all the vintage ones. Nice video captures of some of the cars in action. Beautifull towns and lovely views of the landscapes at the start. Have a nice weekend.
Your friends did good getting into their inflatable kayak. Their tentativeness would be me! The water is beautiful and calm for you! I've not come across Weavers store before. They look to have a great choice though.
We are missing you and so went back to this one and loved it. Your property is so amazing it is so great that you can go out back and get in a hike and exercise and amazing you can get lost! You were cracking me up when you were behind sounded just like something I would have said about Ron and if we dont get ticks and lime disease maybe we will laugh about this later! Then also while your walking you hope its a deer then you changed your mind cause of the ticks so funny! Actually we know a few friends that got lime disease from ticks and it is really bad its one of the negatives of hiking but everyone should be aware. Thank goodness you had the map! LOL! That pond is really nice wow. The shots of the butterflies were amazing! Love your property so much hope one day we can see it I really am trying so hard to convince Ron to do the same sell this home and find a nice piece of property and build a tiny Cabin. Hope your enjoying all your family time!
We absolutely love our little cabin in the woods. We still pinch ourselves so hope you are successful one day in persuading Ron. We would love to have y’all so if you’re ever in NY, let us know. We have so many wineries, breweries and fun things to do here. Glad you enjoyed this one. We really need to get back into it. We’ve let way to much time pass.
What a beautiful location to camp in and a decent way off the main roads. Lovely having a lovely stream passing through it. Shame you had to move spots and campsites, but the next one was lovely too. They are so much like where you have your home now.
Hello my friends. The fall colors are so very beautiful. Mud Lake looks wonderful. I love the new tandem kayak. That look like so much fun. Thanks for showing us your video. Such a peaceful looking place. Enjoy the weekend.
