I use a generic condenser for older Japanese car. Any older auto shop should have them. The TDC mark should appear just on the back edge of the timing hole. That is where you set the lobe just opening the points.
No baffles, generator cased shovel open primary. sounds good to me. Springer front end probably rattles Alain. If it was your bike you'd learn to realize it's fifty years old and you make irritating noises too.
