Beautiful bowl. Thank you for sharing. I see that you are using a continental M17... do you have any trouble embroidering with this on the rope? Your designs look a little more dense than some... how well does it embroider that? Thanks again for sharing your beautiful bowls.
@@Threadsbylibby that’s what I do. The cardstock is great for a few though. The flock is pretty pricey. I bought a template to cover the top of my makers. It is a lot of holes to cut correctly. I find things like that can really save you, if you use the cardstock, instead of not getting all the holes cut in a big design.
I just discovered your channel. Will you please tell me when you are live? You are such a talented artist. Do you have the sleeping cat in your bowl available for sale. Please keep making videos.
Thank you so much! Thank you for commenting on the basket. The pattern of the cat is one I downloaded from emblibrary.com. The sides are designed by me. I usually go live on TikTok and RU-vid in the afternoon around 4p eastern. Check out my live tab videos to see what I’ve been up to most recently.
Hi, apologies, I didn’t see this question right away. Thank you for your interest! I’ll be selling it for $53.00. If you are interested in purchasing this basket, let me know. My cash app is $maxcustomdesigns
Thank you for your question! It has been such a long time since I posted this. The outline setting for the holes can be found searching the internet for the size of your stone and then asking the setting for software to cut the right size radius. I used the Silhouette paid business version to create my pattern. In later videos I made, i might have mentioned it. Also, use the heavy glitter weight paper for your template and do practice cuts to see if the stones fall in properly.
Thank you for this tutorial, I’ve been embroidering my pictures on white fabric, and fuse it to inside bottom before I start the sides. I like your way better. ❤
Thank you for your question! I apologize for the delayed response. The paper I am using is a heavy cardstock used often in paper crafting. It often comes in pads with other colors.
www.therhinestoneworld.com/ This is my go to for my stones. Each stone has a size. There are specific measurements for each stone size on their website or on their RU-vid. I hope this helps!
Hi. When I try to use cardstock, the holes don't appear to be deep enough for my stones to fall in. I use the same svg file with the same stones with the rhinestone template material I got from TRW and they fall in with no problems. Do I need 2 pieces of cardstock taped together?
I also use TRW, but when I know it’s going to be just a onetime use, I use the paper. I do just one layer of paper, I use the heavy card stock from the pads you get in the paper crafting section. It is shallow and it can be a bit more difficult to have all the rhinestones fall in, but the extra time I spend is fine if I’m saving Magic Flock. Be sure to tape your template down on the edges and use strong transfer tape. Best of Luck!
Just found your channel thru a "story" recommended. What machine, software, and esp materials were you using to do this? Saw you answered using heavy card stock to cut the holes? U don't have to use that flocking material for the hole template? What about the material u used to pick up the rhinestones? Look forward to watching u!
Thank you for your question! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I use a Silhouette cameo 3 and I use the Business edition to create my patterns and cut my holes, but you can use pre purchased ones as well. I hope this answers most of your question. I think if you read comments above you will find more information. Thank you!
Hi. Can you tell me what material setting you used on the Cricut. I am using Magic Flock to create the template for the rhinestones and having such a hard time cutting the holes. I am literally desperate here. Thank you so very much.
I have used heavy card stock, but the trade off is you have to place a lot of stones by hand because they can fall out if you aren’t delicate. Also, I haven’t tried it , but paper folder material could work well too.
Elizabeth Blanchette Hi! Thank you for commenting. I appreciate your question! I think if you watch the video ‘preparing a template for rhinestones’ it might help answer your question. Please comment below that video if you have more questions. It might be the subject of my next video!
HTown Thank you for your question! This is completely dishwasher safe! It will never flake. I used sublimation ink in my sublimation printer. See more details in my description above 😊. Stay well!
Am I understanding this correctly when I say that the dots that will be where the rhinestones will go can only be done with Silhouette ? That is where my confusion is...how you get circles for the font you pick.
Hi Laurie, I start with Silhouette studio. This is my program of choice. In another video I show how I traced a font with it. I can’t cut a rhinestone designs in Cricut without starting in a different program to create an SVG file. By the way, you don’t have to own a Silhouette machine in order to use the software. It’s a download at Silhouette, I paid for the version that allows me work with rhinestones and SVG files. I hope this helps!
